@michealati2: Obama has NEVER had a REAL JOB in his entire life, he has never PRODUCED anything, affirmative action student and "community activist" which basically means drumming up resentment among the inner city poor and uneducated so they demand more "free stuff" from us people who pay taxes. When people call President Obama an elitist they're simply trying to say that he is "uppity." It certainly has a racial overtone to it because he's seen as not "knowing his place."
@Thedarksecret1 Not that, a lot of people are envious of the President: look at his impeccable pedigree: graduated on top of his class at Harvard, Senator of Illinois, wrote two successful books, was the first black editor for the prestigious Harvard law review and the First Black president of the richest and most powerful country in the world. the only difference between republicans and democrats is that republicans think things through for example.. abortion: they dont think of the life that that baby would have had... the bailout: people are getting a saftynet that they are going to rely on from here on out.. why get a job when the government(who gets money from the working people) can pay for you.. long down the line no one is going to work.. All democrats are idiots
LOL you're an idiot! Facts are facts stop bending the facts, you can clearly see the changes he has made, of course might be a a little more spending but it's for the better, and that's towards our education something bush can't approve too because he is a dumb southern redneck. From the worst 8 years it was all rushing the war to Iraq not using our military men wisely, because we have one of the strongest forces throughout the world, and sending our money across seas.
@miguelbaezjr A little more spending huh?? For education?? I know for a fact we provided FA/18 Jets and other military equipment to Saudi Arabia... Total cost is in the neighborood of a few TRILLION DOLLARS. If Obama was so smart he would stop spending. His federal credit card is maxxed out...
Nearly kicked out of law school for plagiarizing too. I'm ok with it though. He makes such an idiot out of himself when he uses his own words, I think we'd all be better off if he just continued stealing words from others.
Joe Biden deserves to be cast off as the buffoon he is, but as long as he's linked to Obama Christ, the media in this country will try to protect him. Fortunately, Obama's polls are coming down rapidly. I'm making such a great video right now. Hope everyone keeps subscribed to my videos, because you're gonna love it.
@frankystein12 - More like, "Right, Obama is sinking us into additional debt that is massively worse than anything Bush did in the last few years of his presidency."
The morons voted Obama in to deal with a problem. Not to make us broke.
It's funny how the liberals go around talking about how smart and slick their candidates are, yet they bash republicans like they are dumb and redneck. If this video & Obamas cigarettes hanging out his mouth aren't redneck, I don't know what is. Liberals should go look up the voting stats over the past to see that the majority who vote for them are poor and uneducated. Therefore, you should stop going around talking about how your are smarter than everyone else. It shows an inferiority complex.
I read part of a book that is considered to be the most well collected publication of data regarding this. The name escapes me but I think its "Democrats and Republicans." Anyway Republicans are ont he whole far more educated and give more of their money (percentage wise) to charity. Every since reading that I consider myself a Republican and not an independant. Republican ideals are smaller governmentg andpro business. The very thesis that were smart enough to control our destinies.
@curtmastor I regard national days of prayer and large military spending as well as foreign intervention typical big government. The Patriot Act is a prime example of how a Republican government preaches little to no government intervention in private lives, yet is more involved than constitutionally allowed. It's typical big government to intervene in the private lives of citizens - not small government.
You should no doubt expand your reading list, and I don't even have a dog in this fight.
Who cares about color,Obama wants to make this country socialistic & take away guns from citizens..he is a dangerous extremist & his appointed V.P is a bigoted elitist. With Barack, a NWO is sure to ensue!Look at McCain's histry & Obama's & also who they have/had close ties with..McCain had Reagan & Obama has Farakan. Obama wants to raise taxes..will this help the economy?
Barack Obama, the Ivy League elitist, was at a meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Michelle Obama called room service and ordered lobster hors d'oeuvres, two whole steamed lobsters, Iranian caviar and champagne.
Kinda intersting menu for someone who's supposed to help the "poor man". LOL
1. Many respected officials agree with Obama on sitting down with leaders who we have tried to punish by not talking to them - which hasn't worked only pissed them off more i.e. Iran and North Korea
2.This comment was taken out of context....like McCains "Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran?"
3.There is no such thing as birth after botched abortion. Impossible The fear was the language if passed would later be use to out law choice for a women to choose.
#3. Whores who spread there legs can't expect to not get pregnant. Sorry little baby but your mom is a fucking whore so you have to die because she's an irresponsible slutbag.
I am anti abortion but sneaker u gotta realize chicks get raped very very often. As trajic as it is the kid is living and its not his fault but yea think about the other chicks who dont gotta choice. Im not tryin to insult u, just lettin u know.
Intelligence=elitism??? Where did this analogy come from?
I think elitism is a man who owns 8 or 9 houses but has no idea how many houses he owns. Or a man who believes the "fundamentals of our economy" are stable when our financial infrastructure is clearly crashing (and then trying to flub over this by saying that the creation of jobs and employment is stable- which it is not!.)
U r a dipshit. fundamentals of our economy= working force is good. here is a quote for u "spread the wealth".
OBAMAS TAX PLAN- CONGRATULATIONS ur rich here is a sweat tax increase. I know u studied for ten years and had no friends in college so i am gonna make u pay for the dipshits who suck at life.......whatever happened to survival of the fitest?
Biden is really desperate. Obama is unbelievably intelligent as a political strategist, but has displayed stupidity on a number of issues. Just off the top of my head here;
1) Offering to sit down with terrorists with no pre-conditions,
2) The "clinging to guns and religion" episode
3) Being the only Senator to voice strong opposition to an Illinois bill identical to a federal one that received a unanimous vote protecting infants who are born and still alive after a botched abortion.
By this time, tears were running down Alfond's cheeks. She reached into her handbag for a handkerchief. She tried to speak: "The family members have been waiting for years -- years! And now you're shutting down." He kept interrupting her. She tried to say, through tears, that she had issued no insults. He kept talking over her words. He said she was accusing him and others of "some conspiracy without proof, and some cover-up."
"His face [McCain] angry and his voice very loud, he accused her of making "allegations ... that are patently and totally false and deceptive." Making a fist, he shook his index finger at her and said she had insulted an emissary to Vietnam sent by President Bush. He said she had insulted other MIA families with her remarks. And then he said, through clenched teeth: "And I am sick and tired of you insulting mine and other people's [patriotism] who happen to have different views than yours."
When, on Nov. 11, 1992, McCain was advised that Dolores Apodaca Alfond, chairwoman of the National Alliance of POW/MIA Families (her pilot brother, Capt. Victor J. Apodaca, is missing in action in North Vietnam), was offering some testimony that was critical of the Senate Committee, he rushed into the room to confront her.
Award winning journalist Sydney Schanberg described the scene..
He would belittle and berate these witnesses, questioning their patriotism and otherwise scoffing at their credibility. All of this is on record in the National Archives .
to the best of my knowledge and Ted's knowledge, he was not physically abused in any way. No one was in that camp. It was the camp that people were released from.
Hahaha You think I'm the age that my profile says. I'm only 17 and I speak better English than you do and make better points as well. If you were being tortured I guarantee you'd give up any military information in a heartbeat. I'm done arguing with you because you obviously can't even beat a 17 year old kid in an arguement.
Both Guy and Larson were senior ranking officers (SRO's) in McCain's POW camp at a time he claims he was in solitary confinement and being tortured.
Larson told the New Times, "Between the two of us, it's our belief, and to the best of our knowledge, that no prisoner was beaten or harmed physically in that camp [known as 'The Plantation'].
"My only contention with the McCain deal is that while he was at The Plantation,
Phoenix New Times, March 25, 1999 -- Two former POWs, Air Force Colonels Ted Guy and Gordon "Swede" Larson, said in a feature article that while they could not guarantee that McCain was not physically harmed, they doubted it.
After being periodically slapped around for "three or four days" by his captors who wanted military information from him, McCain called for an officer on his fourth day of captivity. He told the officer, "O.K., I'll give you military information if you will take me to the hospital." -U.S. News and World Report, May 14, 1973 article written by former POW John McCain
"The English-Language broadcast beamed at South Vietnam was one of a series using American prisoners. It was in response to a plea by Defense Secretary Melvin S. Laird, May 19, that North Vietnam treat prisoners according to the humanitarian standards set forth by the Geneva Convention." The Washington Post - June 5, 1969
"Reds Say PW Songbird Is Pilot Son of Admiral . . . Hanoi has aired a broadcast in which the pilot son of United States Commander in the Pacific, Adm. John McCain, purportedly admits to having bombed civilian targets in North Vietnam and praises medical treatment he has received since being taken prisoner." Saigon-UPI, June 4, 1969
Everyone says that Obama is smart I have not seen it yet. Usually when people say somebody is smart in this way it means they are dumb. obama is dumb too many bad decisions.
He's obviously got farther than you in life. He's smart enough to have you and millions of americans and people from all over the world discussing him.
You aren't an elitist if you don't brag about it. Last time I checked McCain never mentioned his houses unless he was questioned about them. Know the facts before you post crap.
Where the hell did you get that definition? Do you guys make it up as you go? When the last time you saw Mccain in your neighborhood unless it was for votes. 7 homes and 13 cars. Your typical guy next door. Obama, 1 home, 1 car, in the neighborhood and can walk with kings or everyday people and as the saying goes "not loose the common touch".
You can't call someone an elitist who is modest about what they own. Also if you weren't ignorant you'd understand that an elitist is someone who states that they believe they are superior to other people. There has been no instance of McCain stating any such belief.
What you said doesn't even make sense and its frankly embarassing. Before you post crap make sure you don't look like a complete moron first. At least spell the word "lose" right.
Yep, make it up as you go. Again, since you're to get thru to, I'll ask again. When the last time you saw Mccain in your neighborhood unless it was for votes? That old man CRASHED not 3,not 4, but FIVE U.S. jets. What if that was Obama? What would be your atitude then? Here's another one for you, He graduated 4th from the BOTTOM of his navy class!! God forbid if that was Obama. Yeah buddy, McCain 09' LOL. "You" vote for him, just like you did Bush you triple idiot!!
When's the last time I've seen Obama in my neighborhood? Same reason that McCain was here for votes. Your logic is pathetic. Anyway what does it matter that he crashed any jets, it doesn't mean he's not going to make an amazing leader. So what if he didn't graduate at the top of his navy class, that still doesn't have to do with politics. I love how you gave up your elitist arguement to bring in other totally unrelated arguements. Next time you take shots make sure you don't look dumb.
Anyway what does it matter that he crashed any jets,
.........................
That crash in Viet Nam may have been his 6th jet and may not have been shot down.Yeah I guess it doesn't matter how many jets, we'll give him a pass. Bottom of his class, pass, father, and grandfather generals, got breaks, and a pass. Don't belive me? ask the vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain. How about his sorry he couldn't attend his birthday party letter to the Godfather crime boss Joe Bonnano? A pass.
When you are trying to get a point across it helps spelling words right and making the meaning of your sentences clear. Obviously you are dumb or illiterate or both. You obviously aren't understanding that crashing jets in Vietnam has NOTHING to do with being elected as a presidential candidate. Also he denied attending the birthday party and he didn't even write the letter saying he couldn't attend. A staff member in his office wrote that letter to Bonnano.
Then of course there was his picking of Jim Johnson as a VP vetter and Franklin Raines as an economic adviser, two former Fannie Mae executives now under investigation for cooking the accounting books to hit earnings targets and trigger bonuses for themselves. That doesn't indicate poor judgement at all now does it mumbleora. Oh but I guess we should give Obama a pass for those grievous mistakes.
Somehow in the feeble minds of douche bags like you it was their fault even though Democrats like Chirstopher Dodd (the number one recipient of Fannie Mae lobbyist campaign contributions and chairman of the House Banking Committee) and Barney Frank in 2003 and then Barrack Obama as well in 2005 (now the number two recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae lobbyists after just 4 years in the Senate) voted against that comprehensive reform.
Franks words in 2003 were as follows, These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing. Now compare that to John McCain's words in May 2006 on behalf of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005.
He concluded his speech saying,"I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole. I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation."
If just saw your age, so I will give you a pass and won't respond to your name calling. I understand now, so I will contain myself and take Rudyard Kiplings approach "IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you". You might want to read it. It's called "IF"
After all that the queen bitch of the Democratic party, Nancy Pelosi, still says that Democrats bare no responsibility and it was all the fault of Wall Street greed and Republican economic policies rather than their own attempts to multiculturalize the housing market by forcefully lowering the credit rating standards (on pain of harsh government penalties for mortgage lenders that refused) for minorities to receive one of those many subprime low interest high risk ARMs.
Ahhhh another moronic Obamaniac that continues to traffic in lies rather than relying on the truth to back up his arguments. First of all Obama made not 3, not 4, but 5 highly questionable friendships during his time being groomed for national politics by the corrupt Chicago political machine (Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Pfleger, and Farrakhan).
Yeah that makes sense, give him and the other Demorons a pass even though first George Bush in 2003 and then John McCain again in 2005 attempted to warn Americans about the shenanigans going on at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac behind closed doors. According to morons like you, even though both men attempted to pass comprehensive reform of those mortgage lending institutions it was the "Bush/McCain economic policies" that caused the collapse of that market and the current woes on Wall Street.
@sjacques...it's scary to think there are people in this world like you who will believe anything they hear. Perhaps you should hear the ENTIRE story before making an ignorant comment like that. You're either 12 years old, or a red neck hick whose opinions don't even matter.
Honestly i am not a Hick and i am deffinatly not 12 because i voted for john yesterday. Barak obama launched his political career out of guys house who attempted to bomb the pentagon. and ur gonna say "he was 8 years old when ayers did that" ok but ayers says back in 2001 that he wished he could have done more.
I am a hick because i voted mccain. Hmmm who is the ignorant one? I know obama doesnt want to bomb the pentagon. I dont want a president with these kind of ties. Oh yea and lets "spread the wealth"...im sorry if i dont want to give my hard earned money to some lazy sack of shit so he/she can go buy a beer. FUCK THAT. did u know that the 250k plus people obama wants to tax are the ones that invest most into our economy? How will this better our economy????
According to John Mertha, if you live in SW Penn. you would not be a hick...You would be a racist. Scratch that, you'd be a redneck. At least it's better than being a gun clingin bible thumper who has antipathy for those who are not like them! Leave it to Obama to deliver real CHANGE!
Dude obama and his supporters have their head sooo far up their ass with this change BS. The USA economy is better then Europes (i no the Euro is stronger but our economy is stronge then theirs). Why copy europes socialist ways when we r better off? SORRY if i dont want to "spread the wealth".
@miguelbaezjr How has bush hurt our economy? All the spending was approved by the democratic congress. Obama has already spent more than bush has in his 8 years. Im not Blind I just look at the facts.
Bush also did not impose a huge medicare mandate that has caused insurance companies to already raise premiums.
Step aside from your party and look at candidates for what they really are. Dont just bend over for Obummer because hes a Dem.
McCain said, "this week Fannie Maes regulator reported that the companys quarterly reports of profit growth over the past few years were illusions deliberately and systematically created by the companys senior management, which resulted in a $10.6 billion accounting scandal."
And just so everyone knows what a liar you are mumbleora John McCain didn't "crash" five jets. Let me break it down factually for you plane by plane. The first two planes McCain "CRASHED" went down due to engine failure not pilot error. The third plane he flew through some power lines but never lost. The fourth plane was destroyed aboard the USS Forrestal in the fire aboard that ship in July of 1967.
Anyway as I was saying,During the hearings, he worked hand in hand with his Sen. John Kerry, the panel's co-chairman, to discredit voluminous evidence indicating that Vietnam was still held a sizeable numbers of U.S. servicemen alive after the prisoner return in 1973.
McCain stood out because he "always showed up for the committee hearings where witnesses were going to talk about specific pieces of evidence.
The fifth plane was destroyed after McCain's A4 Skyhawk was hit by a SAM over North Vietnam and even then still completed his bombing run on a power plant before ejecting. John McCain has two medals for superior flying skills and became the commanding officer of naval aviator training squadron after he was released from Vietnam.
Umm..are you serious? How is this even an issue? He was making a JOKE. He never once said he's "too smart for your neighborhood," he was talking about Republican hacks and how they misinform, not small town Americans.
If the speech is to be taken in its full context, Sen. Biden was referring to the Republicans and how they weren't used to someone as smart and with well thought out strategies, without unbiased opinion of the issues, and without concrete plans to affect reform. I love the gop spin. Pay attention, America. The press will have you believe anything so long as the old boys can have their greedy ways again.
Oh Man! Nothing better than telling the vast number of voters that they are stupid. First they were just Bitter and now stupid...Keep on talking Biden, you are doing a GREAT job for the Obama camp. You are showing the REAL personality of the liberal left.
At Least Hillary knew better than this - she was at least electable.
Is this the best that liberals can come up with?....Please keep posting and showing everyone the real face of Obama supporters. Keep showing just how ugly liberals are.
But you'll notice that republicans aren't prone to rational discussion, so why bother?
Forget Obama, I got my issues with him too. But I bet you can name ANY issue and I can point out the hole so big in your argument that you could drive a truck through it.
go ahead, name some positive accomplishments of bush/mccain, it should take 5 seconds
...and yet you'd still vote for them because you're blindly brand-loyal and soak in fox news all day, don't deny it.
Once again, the DNC has picked an unelectable candidate. With Hillary, the DNC had a chance, a huge chance in winning. Next time, let a woman finish the job.
An Ex-Hillary supporter, now a McCain/Palin voter.
So, being smarter than someone else makes you an elitist now? I can't get over how the Right has suddenly embraced P.C.--obsessed with "sexism" (but for them, sexism = any criticism of Gov. Palin), trying to paint all distinctions as "unfair." Look, Bush has proven himself to be a fool--his policies have been ruinous. But if I say so, I'm an elitist? I want above average leadership. I want brilliant solutions to today's tough problems. How am I gonna get that from a mediocre President?
Of course they've been fair. She's running for VP, not Walmart Greeter. Some of the personal attacks have been irrelevent and distracting, but every candidate gets that ("terrorist fist jab" anyone?). So far she has shown herself to be uninformed, secretive, deceitful, and corrupt. None of these qualities have anything to do with her gender.
You seem to be intelligent enough... So wouldn't you think that going after Palin's daughter is to much? Wouldn't you think that all the questions about Palin's ability to be VP while being a mother would be sexism?
Um. Those are the "personal attacks" I was referring to. I'm glad to see that such idiotic attacks have largely stopped. Now we can focus on her real shortcomings as a candidate.
They really need only point out her low IQ, all the other things, like her hiding from the press just like bush/cheney hide from testifying on the record and general gop direct lying and hypocrisy are unnecessary bonuses.
Republicans want morons that know how to chug a beer and want their cancer cured on the teevee with the bump to the forehead by an magic touch pastor to run their corporation, their country, their lives for them.
Should we elect "normal people" as our leaders, or should we elect the "smartest?"
This presupposes that Balack is actually "smart."
Really?
Who says so?
This never-done-anything clown is where he is for one reason; Bashing whitey is still fashionable!
This is the "work" of "the community organizer." To "organize" a racial subgroup against the whole! A great way to get rich, and popular with the subgroup, but not in ANY WAY, AMERICAN!
The federalist papers say NUMEROUS times that people should choose someone not like them, but rather someone better versed in policy than themselves. Do you really want your mother negotiating with the Venezuelan president? Do you think Putin and friends would be impressed by the 'average' person in America? The fantasy that republicans have offered constituents doesn't work (as evidenced by the Bush presidency); average and subaverage people don't make good political leaders.
these militia in IRAQ are just sitting back right now watching this election like the rest of us. If the republicans win, all hell is gonna break loose over there.
Palin IS a bucket of fluff. No substance. This is America, not England. We need our leaders to actually be capable of running the country, not just sitting pretty and waving in parades. There is no Prime Minister to do it for you. Yes as previous commenters have said, Biden is going to eviscerate Palin. It will be enjoyable to watch, because if Charles Gibson can stump her with one simple question (what do you think of the Bush doctrine?) imagine the carnage when Joe Biden gets ahold of her.
joe biden aint no joke...lets see sarah palin sit down and answer questions on AIG. or mccain for that matter. Americans should let their politicians speak off the cuff a little more instead of picking apart the smallest of verbal mistakes.

Doddlin 3 years ago
I read part of a book that is considered to be the most well collected publication of data regarding this. The name escapes me but I think its "Democrats and Republicans." Anyway Republicans are ont he whole far more educated and give more of their money (percentage wise) to charity. Every since reading that I consider myself a Republican and not an independant. Republican ideals are smaller governmentg andpro business. The very thesis that were smart enough to control our destinies.
curtmastor 3 years ago 4
@curtmastor I regard national days of prayer and large military spending as well as foreign intervention typical big government. The Patriot Act is a prime example of how a Republican government preaches little to no government intervention in private lives, yet is more involved than constitutionally allowed. It's typical big government to intervene in the private lives of citizens - not small government.
You should no doubt expand your reading list, and I don't even have a dog in this fight.

1) Offering to sit down with terrorists with no pre-conditions,

3) Being the only Senator to voice strong opposition to an Illinois bill identical to a federal one that received a unanimous vote protecting infants who are born and still alive after a botched abortion.

By this time, tears were running down Alfond's cheeks. She reached into her handbag for a handkerchief. She tried to speak: "The family members have been waiting for years -- years! themailman17 3 years ago
You aren't an elitist if you don't brag about it.
.................
Where the hell did you get that definition? Do you guys make it up as you go? When the last time you saw Mccain in your neighborhood unless it was for votes. 7 homes and 13 cars. Your typical guy next door. Obama, 1 home, 1 car, in the neighborhood and can walk with kings or everyday people and as the saying goes "not loose the common touch".
mumbleora 3 years ago
You can't call someone an elitist who is modest about what they own. Also if you weren't ignorant you'd understand that an elitist is someone who states that they believe they are superior to other people. There has been no instance of McCain stating any such belief.
What you said doesn't even make sense and its frankly embarassing. Before you post crap make sure you don't look like a complete moron first. At least spell the word "lose" right.
themailman17 3 years ago
Yep, make it up as you go. Again, since you're to get thru to, I'll ask again. When the last time you saw Mccain in your neighborhood unless it was for votes? That old man CRASHED not 3,not 4, but FIVE U.S. jets. What if that was Obama? What would be your atitude then? Here's another one for you, He graduated 4th from the BOTTOM of his navy class!! God forbid if that was Obama. Yeah buddy, McCain 09' LOL. "You" vote for him, just like you did Bush you triple idiot!!
mumbleora 3 years ago
When's the last time I've seen Obama in my neighborhood? Same reason that McCain was here for votes. Your logic is pathetic. Anyway what does it matter that he crashed any jets, it doesn't mean he's not going to make an amazing leader. So what if he didn't graduate at the top of his navy class, that still doesn't have to do with politics. I love how you gave up your elitist arguement to bring in other totally unrelated arguements. Next time you take shots make sure you don't look dumb.
themailman17 3 years ago
Anyway what does it matter that he crashed any jets,
.........................
That crash in Viet Nam may have been his 6th jet and may not have been shot down.Yeah I guess it doesn't matter how many jets, we'll give him a pass. Don't belive me? ask the vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain. How about his sorry he couldn't attend his birthday party letter to the Godfather crime boss Joe Bonnano? A pass.
mumbleora 3 years ago
When you are trying to get a point across it helps spelling words right and making the meaning of your sentences clear. Obviously you are dumb or illiterate or both. You obviously aren't understanding that crashing jets in Vietnam has NOTHING to do with being elected as a presidential candidate. Also he denied attending the birthday party and he didn't even write the letter saying he couldn't attend. A staff member in his office wrote that letter to Bonnano.
themailman17 3 years ago
Then of course there was his picking of Jim Johnson as a VP vetter and Franklin Raines as an economic adviser, two former Fannie Mae executives now under investigation for cooking the accounting books to hit earnings targets and trigger bonuses for themselves. That doesn't indicate poor judgement at all now does it mumbleora. Oh but I guess we should give Obama a pass for those grievous mistakes.
roonalwazlib 3 years ago
Somehow in the feeble minds of douche bags like you it was their fault even though Democrats like Chirstopher Dodd (the number one recipient of Fannie Mae lobbyist campaign contributions and chairman of the House Banking Committee) and Barney Frank in 2003 and then Barrack Obama as well in 2005 (now the number two recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae lobbyists after just 4 years in the Senate) voted against that comprehensive reform.
roonalwazlib 3 years ago
Franks words in 2003 were as follows, These two entities — Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — are not facing any kind of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing. Now compare that to John McCain's words in May 2006 on behalf of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005.
roonalwazlib 3 years ago
He concluded his speech saying,"I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation."

mumbleora 3 years ago
After all that the queen bitch of the Democratic party, Nancy Pelosi, still says that Democrats bare no responsibility and it was all the fault of Wall Street greed and Republican economic policies rather than their own attempts to multiculturalize the housing market by forcefully lowering the credit rating standards (on pain of harsh government penalties for mortgage lenders that refused) for minorities to receive one of those many subprime low interest high risk ARMs.
roonalwazlib 3 years ago
Ahhhh another moronic Obamaniac that continues to traffic in lies rather than relying on the truth to back up his arguments. roonalwazlib 3 years ago
Yeah that makes sense, give him and the other Demorons a pass even though first George Bush in 2003 and then John McCain again in 2005 attempted to warn Americans about the shenanigans going on at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac behind closed doors. roonalwazlib 3 years ago
And just so everyone knows what a liar you are mumbleora John McCain didn't "crash" five jets. Let me break it down factually for you plane by plane. The first two planes McCain "CRASHED" went down due to engine failure not pilot error. The third plane he flew through some power lines but never lost. The fourth plane was destroyed aboard the USS Forrestal in the fire aboard that ship in July of 1967.
roonalwazlib 3 years ago
Anyway as I was saying,During the hearings, he worked hand in hand with his Sen. John Kerry, the panel's co-chairman, to discredit voluminous evidence indicating that Vietnam was still held a sizeable numbers of U.S. servicemen alive after the prisoner return in 1973.
McCain stood out because he "always showed up for the committee hearings where witnesses were going to talk about specific pieces of evidence.
mumbleora 3 years ago
The fifth plane was destroyed after McCain's A4 Skyhawk was hit by a SAM over North Vietnam and even then still completed his bombing run on a power plant before ejecting. So, being smarter than someone else makes you an elitist now? I can't get over how the Right has suddenly embraced P.C.--obsessed with "sexism" (but for them, sexism = any criticism of Gov.
