Most of that serves a function and the gun is no where neat 20lbs. I have a 98C that when it has a 3lb Co2 tank (6lbs 9oz total weight), fully loaded 450 round hopper, custom under barrel grenade launcher, and more weighs in at a bit over 20lbs. That gun is not heavy.

Heavy 'guns'? Colt M4: ~6-7 lbs. Ariakon SIM-4 RIS marker: ~6-7 lbs. All depends on the load-out. Hence the term "military simulation."
