  • pdr is possible today because cars nowadays are as thin as beer cans... get a fat guy to just lean over your fender and its already bent in someway

  • @fortziii True that. I would like to have seen PDR tried on either my '61 or '64 Mercury Comet. Would have been no need though, their bodies were in immaculate condition : P

  • well show again how you got the last dent out

  • Very nice job. I ran out of room in the last post. I think the light board is ingenious!

  • I am an old auto body guy. Out of the business 28 years. I have seen signs for paintless dent repair and decided to research it. I appreciate the the skills involved in the proses. And I watched a dozen guys on utube. Your large dent was impressive, you said it took 4.5 hours. But what if you weren't able to do a acceptable job. Then off to the body shop, for another 4.5 hours. In tech class we were taught how to straight dents with lead, and metal files. Todays cars are more like beer cans.

  • Your in San Diego? Where at? Maybe some time soon i might be needing a dent to be remove in the same area as you removed the dent on this car.

  • Seems like a suction cup tool would have pulled just as much out as the glue pulls. It came out great tho. Cheers

  • what about the footage of hole that was drilled in the door jam?

  • Very elegant technique

  • Where do i learn to do this? I go to autobody school and dont learn shit, It would have taken two days to fix that dent at school using a stud welder shit load of bodyfiller and alot of sanding.

  • how much would a damage (dent) like the one on the video cost on average by a proffessional?

  • whats the track???

  • nice work!! good job mate, ya done well

  • are you using regular glue gun glue when putting the three hooks on?

can this be done with anything glued and just pull on it?

  • what is that connected to your car? are you heatin it ? or what

  • is that done on plastic or aluminium panel?

  • I hope that my Honda dealer is doing something like this to remove the dent on my 2010 Accord sedan with a rear fender dent right above the bumper! I dropped it off Monday and I still have not heard a word from them. I hope that they did not cut anything and I really hope that they did not repaint a piece of the car!

  • Funny Short about dent repair here!

    Search for:

    Atlas Films: OFFICER DOWN

  • What are the names of the tools you used here?

  • Nice repair. Any pics of the door jam? 4.5 hours? What about the displaced metal on the bottom of the 1/4? Is that what took you so long?

  • how much would something like that cost me ?

  • that is quite amazing

  • wow amazing makes it look so easy

  • i have about a three inch deep 7 inch wide dent in the corner of my bumper would this work for that?

  • what is that glue thing called like the acutaname of the tools and were do i get the like at auto zone o rileys or the internet

  • Acura RSX

  • I was in body repair shop for 9 years, at start i was impress but no. after you knocking down the stress points their still some little dents. from 1:52 what did you do to remove the dents? Thats the key part of repairing this car as you claim it is paintless job. Sorry a lots of power tools and special tools I got to deal everyday...

  • WOW.

  • how much wud a job like that cost??

  • This guy is a Magician!

  • gr8

  • Awesome result.

  • i swear he just kicked the panel in and played it back slowly

  • Nice work even with the body line there hard contour to play with ..i remember the days were we would get a guy in side the car and kick it with his foot lol

  • Very impresive how you done that on a natural crease in the bodywork... i thought that was a gonna when i saw it and you proved me wrong... very clever

  • good job mate...i do the equal job...but with another lamp neon...

  • Fantastic work Myke, inspired by your work! regards, Nick.

  • @copplemeister Thank you Nick. I'm still learning believe it or not.

  • @denttime if you didn't learn something one day, You didn't do anything that day.....

    Nice job.

  • As a PROFESSIONAL detailer... i need this guys number...

  • that will be 3000.oo please !!

  • i think this is some amazing work... but i have a simple question.. when u have a dent like this the metal stretches.. so since u just pop it out what happens when someone was to lean on the car? wouldnt it just pop back in? i have a 99 ranger that someone backed into the bed of my truck and i popped it out but now its really weak.. tips? comments? anything to help would be great

  • Can this be done with the typical dents over the rear window of truck cabs?

  • this is fake, you can tell they use different cars

  • @aniger818 noooob

  • Wow nice job

  • still be prepared to pay out the wazzooo

  • I have the same exact car with a dent in the same exact spot...can i do this at home????

  • how much would this cost

  • the metal has memory wouldnt it be easy to put that same exact dent back in the car, plus the metal would be weaker.

  • Just had my BRAND NEW truck fixed by Brian, its 99% perfect, but Im 100% satisfied. Nobody else would notice the 1% imperfection.

  • what kinda car is this

  • WTF! LOL! Acura RSX Type S

  • would this work for a really small dent?

  • @3HaloPlayers Most definitely. Even better with smaller dents.

  • @denttime is this cost alot i got 5 -6 small dent to do on my truck easy to acces place mostly in door

  • @FIcaraudioBTL idk if he answered you but i would say not to much. had my mazda 3 go in to guys like this with over 140dents and they pulled everyone out did not distort the metal and you could never tell anything ever happend to the car! I must say this is a AWESOME way to take dents out!

  • @3HaloPlayers No not autozone. This is a professional glue pulling system. People who try this on their own end up with super bad results. Please don't try this at home. I'm serious.

  • @denttime How much would it cost to get done? I have a beast of a dent in my passenger door.

  • Excellent work on my 05 rsx last week Mike, You took all the dings out. Looks like The day I got it brand new and my friends couldnt find any dents LOL. Now I know were to go. Awesome service excellent price and my car was finished in less than a hour. Happy ass customer!

  • @firefighter4261 Hey thanks Ricky for the business and we appreciate your positive feedback! Take care!

    -Myke Toledo

  • ive seen this done upclose and personal and its not always effecttive

  • @Irokc13 That actually depends who works on you vehicle. Not all dents are the same and neither are pdr techs.

  • great where do you buy those equipments

  • nice work mike you got skills i hope to get good like you one day i been doing pdr three years and i love it and you a artist

  • thats great work well done

  • Comment removed

  • GUYS ! You should launch a worldwide franchise business. Awesome.

  • If i was to ask you who the best PDR tec is you know, who would you shout out??

  • That's a good question but hard to answer. I have met many pdr techs who I think are way better than myself. Sorry but I don't believe there is a one best tech. Everyone has the ability to be great. And there will always be someone better.

  • Yeah true, nice work tho m8 keep it up hey.

  • this is pure genius. unbelievable.

  • Look great

  • good job i am wondering how much would it cost to repair a dent like that

  • Im the bog/bondo master. lol. This guy puts me 2 shame.haha

  • Franchise this into the UK you would make millions in London in a weekend!

  • There are a lot of other companies doing the same there in the UK.

  • PRO!

  • i had an appointment with a pdr tech today at a body shop and he told me he cant do my dents (from shopping carts) on my car cause it would cause the area sorrounding the dent to change... and i have one right above the wheel on the edge of the panel and he said its too close to the edge.. is this true or are they just trying to get me to pay more for body work/paint.. cause the paint isnt damaged

  • I could not say if that is true or not without seeing it. You can email us some photos from our website and we can confirm. Also understand not every pdr tech is equal. Depending on the individual tech's training and over all experience, results vary drastically.

  • Great job!!!

  • damn, nice work!

  • nice work, like new

  • you guys really have to get a shop in Chicago..I swear you guys would make money like no other.

  • awesome!

  • i have that same identical dent on my rsx but on the passenger side. I live in pittsburgh PA do you know of any shops out i could take my car to? Just out of curiosity how much ws the total on that rsx before tax?

  • I've owned a pdr shop for 14 years...you do very nice work...that dent to be right would and should take the 4.5 hours that you put into it. No one notices a good job ...but they sure will point out a bad one. Take care, Eric

  • Thanks Eric. As an experienced pdr tech, you speak the truth. You can never rush quality. A pdr job is not paid to a technician because how fast they can do it but instead how well it they can do it. Thanks for the kudos Eric.

  • Excellent work, really impressive. I wish I could do that!

  • where did you get that tool with the lines to show the waves/damages with the reflection?

  • How much would it cost to repair a dent like that?

  • I went to a local shop to see how much i would cost to remove a big dent across my van, they looked at it and said $3000. i'm glad i saw this

  • 4 1/2 hours??? that repair should have taken no longer than an hour!

  • Well then show me.. if you knew what you were talking about, you understand removing dents fast has nothing to do with how slow a quality repair takes. Fast doesn't count if it's not done right.

  • more labor costs

  • lol his hat says I love dents.

  • nooooo! poor rsx

  • aweeeeeeeeeeeeeesome!

  • you should go on bodyrepairscotland its on google, they do all these repairs, they are a good established bodyshop

  • impressive .....well done.

  • csacsac

  • What kind of glue is that?

  • Hey there nice video! i was wondering,

i have an almost identical dent on a 2 door coupe and was wondering, where you did you get that glue pull kit?

and also when you were dealing with the leftover after the pull, where was the access point??? i can't seem to access the inside of that part of the car..... great vid 5 star

  • Great video!, what kind of glue it`s that?

  • so I was reading the little dispute between denttime and dentexperts..lol denttime pwns him on every response :) good job

  • agreed

  • I want to see dent removal on a dent on a quarter panel 4dr golf that has a lot of small creases like how you unball a crushed up ball of paper. thats how my dent looks like lol.

  • Ya me too!

  • thats amazing

  • thanks for commenting back, joni

  • that is true about it being flimsy but it would be nice to see someone doing it on metal to show off their crafty skills. im only suggesting if you could use yr skills on an old car then you can do anything. not on here but ive seen guys put dents in and take them out in a flash (seconds) and they use the same part on the same car for video repair. they should try that shit on an old car.

  • To really appreciate how difficult the art of PDR really is.. then I suggest trying to push out a dime size dent and see how accurate you can remove it with no push marks. An 89 is nothing, try a 57 Chevy or a 1942 40 Ford. We can do it but very limited. Gage of metal is way too thick to remove these type of dents. PDR is feasible for today's modern vehicles and smaller dents for classic cars. All in all PDR is a skilled craft that takes years to perfect on a consistent master level.

  • ok i have a large dent on the right rear door of my 89 240 volvo sedan . real metal- why havent i seen any videos with cars that many people have that are made out of metal. is it that hard? these sample vids anyone can do. i wanna see someone do an older model car. thanks joni

  • I'll tell you why.. First, these dents are not easy. Second, the metal on these are indeed not as think but they are more flimsy. Which means more stretched. Second, nobody wants to fix a dent on an 89 model nor pay the money it would take to fix. So that's why you don't see it on youtube. Our videos tend to make it look easy in about 3 minutes, but in reality, it took 18 years! It's not easy by the way...

  • Sorry for the harsh comments. I honestly think your work is good, I just want to see real reflection (no line boards) with lots of images in the background on a large repair. I can't find it on youtube. Tapping large crowns with small or medium size tappers creates lots of work. Drilling in jambs on a two door is used car work, why not show the interior?

  • Why Sal? Who am I trying to impress? Sal, lines are are straight lines that show waves. If there is a dent, there will be a curve. You don't like lines because you don't understand them. Besides, it's not about what reflection is more superior, it's how well you understand it. Half the reflection was a shadow.. so what's the problem? I can show you a real, real, nasty body line dent that has no lines and with lines. A perfect repair. That is yet to come for a video as you will see.

  • I started 18 years ago using a board. When you stop using the board your work will please the natural eye. The board can only show lows in the direction you put it. Natural reflection will show all angles quicker and increase your speed and accuracy. It was very tough to wean myself of the board. I'll look for your next video. Take care. No hard feelings.

  • Relax man....nobody is hating anyone here. I am now in the business of teaching through DVD. Your video is one of many that is deceptive because we all know you can't remove a dent like the one in the video from one direction. Also all that pecking with that tapper just made a mess of that nice reflection. It's to time expose. This industry has a glut of wholesale techs doing used car work. Retail is what is left of the industry.

  • LOL! Ya it's a real mess and deceptive. Sal don't kid yourself. I will have another video coming out so you can complain about that too. Besides, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Now about the angle. I worked the dent from both sides buddy. Crossed check and then some. Just because you don't believe the video doesn't justify any of your remarks. I never claimed this video was perfect so there is your mistake from the get go. You are a real character. Good luck on your videos..

  • Don't be fooled by the final video camera pass. It pans reflection quickly with no real images in background to test the repair. Great work for the used car market. Not retail where someone wants it gone.

  • Sal.. that is your name right? You don't have to be a hater. You should be supportive about other PDR guys in the industry who do a good job. Unless you feel you are the world's best PDR dent guy and so it makes your ego feel better by making unappropriated comments. The best techs are not only good but better by their actions as well. I talked to you once before and you acted like nobody can do the same type of work as yourself. Well, get over it buddy. Because there is always someone better.

  • Oh and by the way. How many reflections did you want? Granted there was a slight wave but no tap down pits left, no dent in the body line left and nothing else left for a customer to notice. I had 2 different reflections going across the dent and a light on a black car. I did this video to justify the art of PDR and its capabilities.

  • I love your work mate..

  • fantastic job... you deserve credit for perfecting such a skill.

  • how much does this cost

  • cool

  • Now that is just spectacular, the way you got rid of the stress points, thats what seems to always be left behind after doing paint less dent repair, im starting to wonder if i should invest sometime in learning a little about this process, i usually paint and paint some more, of course after using a unispotter an lots of metal filing haha

  • ANYONE KNOW whats this song is called?? thanks

  • We downloaded it for free from a music bed company but our video guy didn't keep on file. Sorry.

  • 4 hours! I hope you got 500 bucks otherwise just go out and hit some 100 dollar dings in a few places and call it a day! Good job I have to work on this suck-ass hail here in Dallas.

  • This dent put me over $1400 total for the day. You guys must realize though. I don't always do big dents just for the money. I do them because I LOVE DENTS and get paid! So in other words, I don't work a day in my life.

  • Nice work man. Been doing it for about 4 months now starting to get there hope someday I can do that.

  • what's the music called? awesome work btw!

  • good work A+

  • Good job, where did you get the light?

  • nice job man, if you dont mind me asking after you glue pulled how did you get access with a tool?

  • You guys make it look so easy...but we all know how hard this stuff is.Great job!

  • wel I just wanted to say...well done!

I am a starter in PDR in the netherlands, for like 2 years and I say starter, because I know it takes years to do what is shown on video.

so I have deep respect for what you do.

2 years and now i'm removing small dents, large dents is where I wanna go, but it will take me years of practice...so much respect to you.

  • I appreciate the positive comments. I'm sure you are already a great PDR tech yourself. What I think is most important is that you take your time to do it right. Small or big it doesn't matter. Keep it clean as you go and the rest solves itself. Thanks again.

  • Are you dent wizards? Thats what it looks like at 4 1/2 hours. People who knew how to PDR this wouldn't have taken that long. Maybe 1 1/2 hours with a good glue pull systeme. But you didn't show me anything that might further my education. Nice try but keep working. We love Dent Wizard trained individuals as they put our kids through college.

  • When you assume, you make an ass out of yourself. Lets get some things straight. First I have been performing PDR for over 17 years. I know an idiot when he speaks you defined it perfectly. Any experienced PDR tech knows it's more important to take their time and do it right. As you can tell, it did. No if you do rush work and don't mind half ass, then so be it. But don't insult the rest of the PDR industry with you sorry remarks. I am self taught since 1991 and again, very proud. Now get lost.

  • you made it look easy, even do-able...then you said how long it took lol. i'll just pay pros like yourself to do it for me :), prolly take me twice as long

  • WELL DONE
