I will tell as a matter of fact that the majority of athletes in ALL sports at the 2012 olympics will be using designer AAS and growth hormone. It's a lot to do with our culture. The food we eat, the way we live, and the way we're raised, that's why we run fast. By the time you enter school in Jamaica you are already pitted against your peers in every possible manner of competition. Math skills, spelling b's, classroom ranking, sports, musical talent, you name it. We are psychologically immersed in a culture of competition. At the same time, nobody is in a hurry in Jamaica. They run fast because they have west african genetics mixed up. It is one of the best genetics to run in short or middle distance. They build more proteins in their bodies.
Long distance is more for East Africans. They dont run good on short ones. Etiópia, Kenya.

Bottom line is if you are willing to work hard for it, you can excel at any sport or any endeavor. My family is jamaican so I've seen this first hand. And I've been asked why jamaicans are so fast. I point alot of it to training, environment, and severity. When I say severity, I mean how strong or how serious a country takes a sport

Severity, in the U.S. the blacks that seem to excel the most in the nfl are blacks from the south mainly texas, ga, and florida, is where football is taken much more seriously at a young age. In basketball blacks from east coast seem to produce the best players.

even in east coast high schools, you have alot of young jamaican females as well as males that are some of the best track athletes in their respected high schools and even colleges you have alot of Jamaicans doing well and even running for the U.S in olympic track and field. Carribean and West African blacks are usually known for sprinting but it's East African Kushite blacks = Somali/Ethiopian/ etc. that dominate marathons across the globe and been known to do it bare foot , reason = severity
