  • Dear Zila,

Was your grandmother Gracie Nesbitt's daughter? Gracie was Florrie's cousin. She was a singer too. She was the one who sang "Uncle Said Push".

Because, if she was, I reckon I know why what you found was called "Monkey Tree".

  • Dear Mr.Freeman

Iam Aliz Bϋdokné. Recently in Cumbria we stopped to purchase gifts. We found a jar of Monkey Tree Smokey Paprika Sauce that claimed "original recipe of Florrie Bundock" linking to your You Tube. Upon tasting this truly amazing sauce my Grandmother began reminiscing, claiming that this sauce reminded her of an old family sauce and then in a trance like state began to speak of a great aunt who was a famous chanteuse.

Could it be possible that this is the same Florrie Bundock?

  • Wow how amazing- where did you find this?

  • The original recipe, yes. Florrie Bundock was way ahead of her time. She invented the sauce when paprika was a dirty word in the Dengie. A courageous woman. Of course, there were many imitators but there is still nothing quite like Florrie Bundock's Original Smokey Paprika Sauce.

  • Nay...can this be coincidental? Is this the creator of Smokey Paprika Sauce?

  • A lost jewel, found again. Thankyou Cocker for bringing Florrie Bundock back to us.

  • :D That kylie has some explaining to do
