Both are Gods of the underworld, both have statues with the hellhound and gatekeeper of the underworld Cerberus

Both of them took the crown from the titans with their two brothers of (air) Zeus or Jupiter and (sea) Poseidon or Neptune..

And both are TOTALLY AWESOME!!

My all time favorite boss theme from s.o.m, the fast beat of this music gives the player a sense of urgency I think. Like I gotta beat him quick. I do, Just hammer away with Level seven Exploder and watch out for his hands when he goes under the floor. other than that use the Dryads wall to deflect his attacks. in my opinion the Dark Lich is the easiest boss in the game.
