Sadhus are renunciants. Vaisnavas worship Visnu. Shaivites worship SIva. Some customs are different but they are very similar.

Yes this is the largest gathering ever know to human beings. This is the biggest spriritual gathering that happens after every 12 years.One simple but important thing to note from this video is that maximum people are wering sweaters and mufllers as there is so much cold but naga rushi (saint who follows lord shiva) are roaming nude there. they are not even shivering. This indicates the state of there mind or the spritual level they have reached.
