I breed Miniature Horses and my stallion is more aggresive that this one and he is controlable without a chain, and I agree with everyboby on this one neither of the handlers have a clue of what they are doing. One day that stallion will say "Yah know what, I'm not going to breed this mare because if I do, my face will get jerked on and it doesn't feel good!"
I agree with what every one else said! You BITCHES don't know shit bout horses! Dont tug on the lead rope while matting the horses weren't doing anything! Then the mare was trying to get away from teh tugging and you practically fif it harder. You dont know how to hold a lead rope, cuz you wrapped it around your hand and you where swinging the rope at the horses
These horses deserve way better!! There was absolutely no need for the tugging on either of the horses leads/halters. Hopefull next time they'll be handled by someone who knows horses!
These people have beautiful horses but they don't know how to handle breeding horses. Too much jerking on the rope. The mare was behaving beautifully. She didn't kick, complain, or try to move away like you would think she was by all the jerking. Same with the stud. He was amazingly well-mannered.
That was mean, the mare just wanted to look at her lover! If someone was making your romantic dreams come true, wouldn't you want to see who it is? Well atleast she wasn't tied up!

Terrible handling of two horses with nice temperaments (for now). Jerking on the mare's halter multiple times, and in particular when she turned to the stallion, was just callous and nasty. Jerking on the stallion's halter constantly when he was smelling the mare will create a stallion hesitant to breed - he is already getting there. I hope someone with horse sense handles these two next next time - they deserve better and will be ruined if these people are allowed to keep this up.
I hope the foal does not inherit the graying gene from the mare. It could cause a beautiful Appy pattern to be lost. This is why the APHC doesn't register foals with a gray parent.
Wow! That essa [mare] looks almost exactly like my aunt and uncles guelding [who was put down a few months ago becuz he did something to his leg and couldn't be ridden anymore... and it had gotten infected :,( ]. The guekding's name was Kaous and he will always be remembered.
