Nice job! Very heartfelt. Not an easy song to sing, actually, but your voice met the challenge, and your guitar playing was excellent.

I think this is the best song Carole King wrote for the Monkees, even better than "Pleasant Valley Sunday". Too bad there's no karaoke version of it out there.

You really do a nice job! I find myself closing my eyes and singing along to a song I haven't listened to in years, but wore the grooves off the vinyl from the original in the mid 1960's! I have always enjoyed the Monkees music (who should be in the Hall of Fame for Pete's sake - oh another Monkee song lol).. Keep singing and playing, you have talent!! Somehow I have overlooked this gem on Side 2 of my "More of The Monkees" LP. For 42 years, even! The grooves on this cut on my record aren't worn because I didn't know what a wonderful song it is. It'll get some wear now.
