They're much rarer than any Mustang, as the Australian market at the time was a lot smaller. They do however make up for it in adaptability. They will take pretty much any American Ford V8 you can name. the smallest engine they had was a 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder, up to a 351 Cleveland. the spoilers and front end bodywork are all custom work

BandCShow Do yourself a favor put the movie in your player. take a good hard look at the rear plate on the supercharger. It's a flat plate of Aluminum. There isn't even a bearing plate. So ask yourself how the impeelars were hung in the supercharger. Also a supercharger has such tight tolerances to produce boost that if it doesn't turn that NO AIR gets past. No AIR equals no ignition. No ignition equals sitting still and telling dumbasses that it really can be shut off and still run.

Also, there is no fuel line, throttle cable, or linkage to operate the fuel injection unit. Shots from the interior of the car show the throttle just hanging there, as well as the garage scene where Max is revving the car from underneath the yellow bucket, hiding the carb.
