I will never forget this day. I remember that Mr. Obama had said several times: "If I become President...", and thus he would continue. At one point, I was so enraptured, that when Mr. Obama exclaimed after a certain pont made: "If I become President..." and I yelled "When you become President...!" He paused, and stated... "No, if I become President... I'm superstitous...." I felt honored and embarassed at the same time. Mr. Obama, you're the 1st President I ever had. Thank you, sir.
This song fits exactly what I felt that day in St. Louis...extrodinary moment in my ordinary life..
Beautiful day, beautiful people..I will never forget the amazing energy as different races stood side by side and treated one another with such respect. Candid, open conversations on race were struck up between black and white strangers, and no one pushed and no one shoved. We didn't even wait in any kind of traffic coming or going!
I am 43. I got goose bumps and tears in my eyes watching this. Well done, America the Beautiful!!!! Best witness of History in my life time, hands down. :0) (well the moon was good too, but I was so little then on my Daddys lap)
That was quite an event, to see firsthand the wave of people coming down the hill onto the Archgrounds. I feel very lucky to have been there. Got there real early and had great view of stage!
This is an awesom video and sight to see. I was at the Kansas City, MO. rally with the 75,000. The look on the McCain protesters faces said it all, they looked like they were in shock. I hope this is the same look on their faces after the election. They and the abortion protesters left long before the rally started. It was my 11 year old daughters first political rally, one she and I both will never forget!
Look how beautiful is St Louis in this day of sun. I left Missouri some times ago, I am proud of all the people I see there. This guy is an hope for a better world, he is like us.
I left Missouri some times ago. Look how beautiful is St Louis with the sun. I missed that special day. Obama is the hope, you that can, vote and change the world. He is a guy like us.
I envy you elmero13!...I get choked up just thinking about the "coming together" of so many people for such a noble cause. I'm sure it was an extraordinary day.
...Wishing all my American friends the clarity to vote well...
It was the most inspirational moment. Everyone was there for a common ideal. Everyone just came together, no fighting. I had a conversation for an hour and a half with complete strangers over politics, our world, our country. More people need to be like that. Maybe we'd actually solve something.
Great song and spectacular pictures for a once in a lifetime event. My whole family was there and it was amazing! We didn't want to leave. We're voting Obama/Biden 08!!

Please view and rate my video effort as well: "OBAMA Arch"
It would be cool to combine footage from many different
People's Cameras at the Arch grounds to edit into a
documentary.
