Hey guru.. Xerox came up with the first GUI. Apple just copied how the application worked (windows, menus, etc). And as far as the mouse, Douglas Englehart of Stanford Research Institute invented the mouse WAAAAY back in 1964.
A lot of the techniques Apple came up with were also copied from other systems and OSes, just like Microsoft does. Why invent when you can copy?

A lot of the techniques Apple came up with were also copied from other systems and OSes, just like Microsoft does. Why invent when you can copy?

I have never gotten a virus on one of my windows pcs , and I dont use antivirus software. matter of fact most custom pc's have hardware firewalls if you buy the right mobo, which is something a mac doesnt have. and im done talking to to you mk00y1 because you nothing about technology or kernel errors which plague osx. so good day.

Agreed. But I would venture to say that it would have a lot less problems, or address them a lot better and quicker. But that remains to be seen, if mac/os x even reaches a 20%ish market share then a lot more problems should start to crop up.
