@AnimationDisney JT does not use auto tune. Does not need it. I have seen him in concert over 25 times and this guy is never off. Plus, auto tune wasn't even out there when he recorded this

James recorded this song at our studio nearly 20 years ago. He's a genuine 'treasure.' I believe this is a 'live' version of the song and not the album track for the Pediatrics AIDS benefit. Just the same, hard to find a bad song by James.

I love James Taylor --but his rendering of this song is not the best....he sounds "tired", melancholic and monotonous....all the more so if one considers that the original tune is a beaming and upbeat one.

The french version "Mon Beau Pays" was originally written by; Willie Lamothe. It was performed by: Nicolas Pellerin for the commercial.

It was given to me as a gift when i was three and I loved it! I'm almost 20 and i found it the other day in a box full of old days and it surprised me how i still new pretty much every word to every song. IF you haven't check out McCartney and the Wings video of Mary Had a little lamb. Classic.
