  • AWESOME SONG!

  • The story goes, that Ron was in jail and a corrections officer heard him sing, when he got out, the corrections officer recorded this at his house, even with the mistakes.........it was a hit.........gotta love it....

  • good song

  • I wonder why the guy playing the claves was dragging and missing the beat at certain times. this must have driven percussionists crazy at the time.

  • I remember playing this melody on the piano when I was about 10 years old. All these years later, I finally find out who the artist was. Good stuff here!

  • Real music!!!!! Love it... thanks for posting!

  • One of my favorite songs at the age of 9 when i first heard it!

  • Great song, an "our song" for countless couples in 1960 (including my then sweetheart and me) and beyond. Mr. Holden, by the way, was from Seattle, Washington, not California. He died from a heart attack in his late fifties.

  • Great track..never took off in Australia..was played once as a" Mad Mel Exclusive" on 2SM Sydney and faded into oblivion. It still sounds good today..a classic!

  • Evert word was true in 1960 and they are all still true today. I called this our song because it perfectly spelled out my feelings. I still have my scratchy 45.Forever Young Forever in Love. -D

  • Ibought Ron's CD on EBAY as I liked this Track when I heard it.The rest of the Tracks are SUPERB too and I was not disappointed in any way,far from it,thanks Ron,and oldieman2009 for uploading it,Murray.

  • Remember this from the sixties. Classiest Do-Wop ever made.

  • One of the true Do-Wop classics. I remember this from the sixties. My all-time favorite.

  • Man, this is a record I bought from Louie Silvanni, around 1970. What a great side to bring back some nyce memories.

  • Just in case anyone thinks Ron Holden was part of the Texas group The Fabulous thunderbirds Think again This was and still is a true Doo wop Classic.

  • @miketheshanmanmangan Fabulous T-Birds are from the Houston area. I think Ron Holden was from California. This is a Doo-Wop classic, I agree

  • This is my favorite song.....
