  • Kid shouldnt feel bad. Most adults to this day dont know what a president should do. Look at the last 2 fail presidents we've had.

  • ELLLMERRRRRRRRRR

  • Werent there 2 elmers on lhop? The other elmer was on "for the love of nancy". In a season after this

  • @thesavagesibs I get emotional like that...and my husband loves me for it... he likes to call it passion. :)

  • I HATE NELLIE

  • @Aleksei5055 Nellie's a spoiled brat

  • Oh Snap!

  • Great scene!! Brings tears everytime!

  • Hey that's Eddie Van Halen sitting beside the redhead boy. Hot For Teacher!

  • haha i was like mary i cried when i first saw this seen. kid was so moving(:

  • Funny, in LHOP we see twice nice boys who just wanted to be good to the others and they are fooled by mean people.. Each time the boy's name is Elmer :D

  • Mary's so pretty!

  • Elmer showed them! Especially when he went on to make his own school glue and made a fortune!!

  • @KingofPepsi I LOVE YOUR COMMENT MADE ME LOL SO HARD :D

  • @fallingstones7, Thank you! I was afraid a lot of people wouldn't get it. But, you did!!

  • lol I wish I could cry over this like Mary.

  • This show could bring the awesome when it needed it. This is the best ending, in my opinion, next to the ending of The Wisdom Of Solomon, which is the saddest and bestest ending ever.

  • @thesavagesibs LMAO!! SHE'S OVERTHETOP!

  • Poor Elmer!!

  • Mary's eyes are soooo pretty! And poor Elmer haha. If Charles was his Pa, he'd come kick some ass.

  • Wow....that was great!

  • mary was always such a sweet girl.

  • cool! ;) Eric Olson! i remember him from Apple's Way around 1974-1975. he always had snakes in his pocket.

  • I seriously doubt that late 19th century one room school houses had class elections.

  • @juliabohemian this is the 18th century. and yes they did have schoolhouses in the really early 1900's

  • @halfwolf66

First of all, I was being sarcastic. *whoosh*

Secondly, this is NOT the 18th century.

    1800-1899 is the 19TH CENTURY.

    1700-1799 is the 18th century.

My dad's family hails from the same county in Wisconsin, where Laura Ingalls lived during this time period. So we're very familiar with her personal history.

This was an entertaining show with wholesome storylines. But unfortunately, it was a colossal failure in regards to historical accuracy.

  • mary always looks like she is about to cry because of her hawt eyes

  • @salamanderjood Yes, I use to hurry home after school just to get a glimps of the super hot Melissa Sue Anderson.

  • @salamanderjood Maybe that's why she went blind. Cried so much her eyes plumb got tired.

  • at 2:27 mary looks like she is about to cry.

    :-(

  • @Sperrazzajel She did cry

  • That kid made a good point and that was a great speech he made! Bravo, bravo! :D

  • Elmer Dobkinnnnnns.... lol
