@LeahWalentosky It happens. Feelings about kids can change. Darlene's in school and kids are the last thing on her mind in this episode, if they are on her mind at all. Plus, some people are uncomfortable holding babies. They are fragile little beings, and tend to squirm a bit in your arms. ^_^

I love the way this is written where Fred, who doesn't actually do anything wrong, is somehow made to be sort of the bad guy. He's sensible and level-headed about the relationship between himself, Jackie and the baby, yet somehow he's sort of an antagonist. And of course, since this is Roseanne, it works!

Lord....Darlene is about as awkward as i am when holding a baby. I tried it once and was all, "Now what do i do with it??" My mom got mad and took it away. Whew. Makes me nervous! I never know is im gonna drop it or hurt its neck or am holding it right....:D but they are adorable to watch over for hours! :D

@adamlonghairwest Well at the end of the series we discover Roseanne was just writing that as part of her book and they never really won the lottery; plus Dan died of a heart attack and David and Becky got together and Darlene and mark got together. So maybe that's what is so weird about the last season--it ruined a really good show.

@adamlonghairwest Season 9 was all Roseanne's writing and wasn't real. Dan died at the end of Season 8 after his heart attack and winning the money was also made up. It was my least favorite season because it didn't fit with the rest of the Roseanne seasons. They were regular people, with regular lives but they ultimately loved each other which was going to see them through anything. It was real and so Season 9 seemed so unreal, plus I didn't like Dan cheating. That bothered me.
