Haha, We ended up coming to korea 3 years ago! We are still here. It's our last year. Been a nice ride. Thanks for making this video all those years ago! Are you guys still here?
We're sharing a pre-furnished one room, but Brian's school had a big budget for us to spend on furnishing (my school is providing the apartment and he gets a stipend for housing because his school isn't paying for an apartment), so we were able to spend it on things like the computer. I think, but I'm not sure, that the budget is given to each school the first time they get an english teacher and then the school keeps all the stuff after we leave. Busan in general is fantastic.
I am planning on moving over to Busan with my wife in Feb. I was wondering..Are you teaching also? Would they try and find us a larger place, or would they treat us like 2 individuals and give us a smaller area and then reimburse us money equal to the rent for the other persons apartment?
It depends, we're teaching in the public school system and they gave us a choice. We didnt mind the smaller place and really liked the area so we decided to stay. We know some other couples who were given a larger apartment right off. In general if you are unsatisfied or want to change your accomodations they'll try to make you happy. Keep in mind that it does differ depending on your given school/location/administration/coteacher etc

Don't mean to be a nitpick, but it is pronounced foy-yay, not foy-yer.
