Thanks! I do really enjoy it here. It's tiring at times but on the whole really worth it.
Dunno if my enthusiasm is so good though...haven't made many videos since moving to my new apartment... But that's probably because I don't have a good setup.
I had the pure chocolate version of meltlykiss and it was called meltyblend. Anyways I want to try the strawberry flavored ones because the meltyblends were so good.
I suppose you might be able to find some of it in an Asian mart, depending on where you live. Most import stores don't seem to cover this stuff, so an Asian mart is your best bet.
I'm going to try..(in vain probubly..) to make my own christmas cake this year. It won't look anything like the head-explodingly nice looking cakes in those catalogs...:(
I worked in a bakery for five and a half years. When I was wandering through the store yesterday I realized I could make one for us here for less than half the cost of the expensive ones they sell...and easily as well decorated. Bah!
Wow, really? Then I'm definatley gonna give it a try! I hope they show a recipie for christmas cake on those "Cooking with Dog" videos. But I'm pretty sure I can just find recipies elsewhere online too! Yay!
Well, that only works if you know how to use the tools (pastry bag, etc). It would be a good idea for me because I make cakes...if you go to sprytelymusings (dot) blogspot (dot) com and scroll to the bottom you can see a couple examples of wedding cakes I made.
Of course, it's still cost-effective to make your own but unless you know what you're doing (not saying you don't, just giving warning) it probably won't turn out the same.
Japan really knows how to present products. Most packages i've seen are really colorful and showy. In the name of all that is squishy and cute, that stuffed cake-thing is adorable!!! Me wants!!
hahahaha Nothing bad, is just that yesterday i had a little disscution with a friend from the city i used to lived, and hehe we ended talking pretty bad stuff about us XD, but still, at the end, we remain friends hehe
I've never been a fan of plain, salted potato chips. I'd rather eat an apple. If I'm going to eat something awful and unhealthy, it better be flavored, or at least loaded up with chip dip.
I GOT IT!!! I will now have a meal BEFORE watching your videos, so that I don't have to rush off with cravings for something that I shouldn't be having. GENIUS!
You seem to really enjoy Japan, your enthusiasm is infectious haha good vid!

oh i really love japan's chocolates yummy!
wowiecariaga 3 years ago
They're pretty decent. Admittedly though, like American chocolates, they aren't as good as most European chocolates. Sad but true.

Your Japanese junk food review is fun.
Please try Japanese instant noodles sometimes, including soba and yakisoba.
Or if you go to Ikebukuro everyday, depachika(department underground) review would be interesting too.
Tnakamura11 3 years ago
I've had instant noodles, but I kinda never saw the point on doing a review of them... They exist in the US too, even if they aren't quite the same.
As for デパ地下, I don't carry my laptop and my camera's a bit limited in what it can do.

japanese people dont open potato chips on the top seam, they open it from that back seam, try it, its much easier

That's magical. Really? I've never noticed... Hmmm. Thanks for letting me know, I shall try it.

I try. This doesn't mean I'm not still upset about Baja, but until I'm there and see the lone chinchilla in the cage I think I'll be mostly okay.
Maybe if you're good I'll mail you some sometime. ^_~

Yeah, good idea.
Thankee, I like the tofu cake thing... My mission was to get more Love Bunnies and only Love Bunnies. Whoops.
superspryte 3 years ago
you should try the wasabi chips. haha
in the song "last christmas" by wham!, they say "happy christmas" and yet when they sing, i'm almost convinced they're american.
bjeramos 3 years ago
I don't like wasabi flavored stuff usually. Timid palette and all.
No doubt I'll hear that song before long; Christmas is already going strong here.

so cute ^.^
