i only drift with a controller... first off, dont use the tommy kaira. get an s13 or 14 or 300zx. they are good cars to learn with. turn off driving aids ( ASM ,TCS) next, put on simulation tires and bump the power up to around 300- 350hp. after u do this, the car's rear end should be sliding out all over the place. practice accelerator control and counter steering. also, weight shift and finding the right line is important. these are very basic tips but keep practicing!
Mostly all of the FR and 4wd cars can be drifted well with proper tuning and settings. My personal faves are the 86 of course, almost all of the FR nissans, altezza, supra, etc.... As for 4wd cars, Evo IV, V, VI, VII, R33, R34, and all the Imprezas are pretty good. Probably left some out but thats what came to mind....
haha. yup! If only I they had the Evo III in this game, I could be Sudo Kyouichi as well. I tried to get all the initial d cars in this game but not all are in here....
Loving the zero countersteer and the linked turns at 1min:02sec in. 4WDs are hard to drift in GT3 but looking at your vids it looks like you got it down
I did one too with a 900hp Subaru Impreza LM Race car onto the inverted SSR11, I will be pleased if U come take a look and give me a vote and comment.
Ummm.... I tried to find your GT3 vids but I couldn't find any...? I would like to see your "pro" drifting skills but it appears you don't have any... So, until you can back up your talk, just keep your lame comments to yourself because you are only making yourself look like a dumbass.
by the way, how do you record ur replays without using a digital camera. i got around like 20 drifting videos of mine in GT5P ready to record and i can only record with a poor quality with my digital camera
Not sure how much they cost. Look at the cameras and check the video OUTPUT to see if it is rca jacks or s-video and get a cable that will connect the camera to the laptop. Wait, you have digital VIDEO cameras right?
Any electronics store should carry them. If you are unsure, bring in the camera with you and explain what you need to hook up.
try do a search for " GT3 drift" and find a vid from gso100, doesn't matter which one.. from there you can see the rest of his videos including the SSR5 one.

thanks. I used a firewire from my ps2 to a sony digital camera, and another firewire to my laptop.
so808 3 years ago
and how much did the cables cost?? cuz i got two digital cameras with firewire and i-link ports, i just need the cables

you could post that replay in free camera...
not first person
i think it would be cooler ;)
nivrin13 3 years ago
I agree that free camera is more cinematic but I think that first person view reveals the driver's technique better.
so808 3 years ago
also true ;)
again
good drifting
very good handling :D

the gear box is tuned too , good drifting

.are sim tires the best to use fr drifting.?.
RICHARDcGABRIEL 3 years ago
in my opinion, yes. sim tires are the only way to go. slippery at first but once you get the feel, you will definitely agree.
so808 3 years ago
.man i tried it.sims are the best.lol.i tried rite after wachin thiz vid.and it works!thnz main. : )
RICHARDcGABRIEL 3 years ago
Sim tire the best, but don't use them on SSR5 Wet with a FR car, it slips all over the place :P
fnr3addict 3 years ago
Check out gso100's replay on SSR5 wet... He uses sim tires on a trueno. I also have some replays on the same track but they are not as good as his.
so808 3 years ago
I can't see his videos ._.
