I play Nexus Wars almost every day i can honestly tell that the number of games lost due to someone massing mutalisks is really disturbingly high. Please people dont mass mutalisks, ever. Actually never get more than one just for the tech to Broodlords. Its one of the worst units in NW.

I am SOOO relieved that the number 1 winning strategy is still quite unknown. But if you knew it, you'd be shocked, how a) effective b) simple and c) obvious it really is. It's so obvious that no one sees it. I hope it stays that way for a long time to come.

Technically, it's never good to switch races, unless you REALLY REALLY have to. Also, it's better to decide early on between you and Anaris which one will go air and which one will go ground to cut down on upgrade cost. Pretty good combo: Void Rays & Immortals/Colossus, with crowd control being High Templars. Protoss is OP in Nexus Wars.

@AsSaSsInS6842 the goal is to kill the other nexus.if you build a buiilding you get some minerals per minute depending on the building higher tech or more expensive the more money you will get. you cant control the units they just go straight at the enemy. for kills against the opponents units you will get more money

me and my mate have been experimenting with a pylon first start-up.

One goes zelots (because they tank damage, maybe double zergling would be better because they spawn faster?) other goes pylon (have to wait a bit for the minerals). Then use your SCVs to support either your zelot or zerglings.

It is risky, but we've been having some success with it when used right, the early game mineral advantage helps out a lot later on.

y u no play 2 v 2 nexus wars? also if anyone used any of these build orders would get pwned. lots of zerglings sux. lots of marines pwns when every 1 has built 4 baraks. then with that you can spam more or do any other strategie (if you dont go (use 100 minerals then use 50 mineral buildings you get behind on the mineral income) if you need to actually talk about strategies on this game type msg me

The only problem with zeratul is when nexus wars goes that late into the game with carriers all over the place the lag can almost become unbearable and microing him can become almsot impossible.
