What is Obama doing against corruption, organized crime, and the huge consume and demand of illegal drugs such as illegal southamerican Cocaine, by US citizens?

I live in san pancho (near puerto vallarta) and trust me the only dangerous spots are the border cities but where i am is like paradise and the people are really kind and the beaches are spectacular.

im a taxi driver and i'm used to answering the "drug war questions" and every time it just seems like you guys are fed a bunch of crap about the country in general(through the media of course)

The US drug war is ridiculous. They know where billions of drugs are pouring into the country and they do nothing to stop it. Theres got to be just as much corruption at the top in the US as there is in Mexico for that to happen.

all drug crimes are in the shadows, no tourist has been harm ..mexico has its problems but tourism has been its main priority and safety! Mexico is Safe! I travel every year.. i love mexico!

It's not the Mexican people, it's not the people of the U.S., it's not the U.S. government, it's the cruddy corrupt Mexican government that's the real problem. The solution is for the U.S. to officially invite the Mexican people to dissolve their govt. along with the lawless 2,000-mi. border and unite with the U.S. under the U.S. constitution. It's dangerous, but come on... anyone who thinks you are safer in Iraq is nuts. Stay in strictly tourist areas, stay away from illegal activity, don't be flashy, only deal with reputable locals, and use common sense. Mexico can still be a fun and relatively safe tourist destination.

The Border of Mexico is DANGEROUS !! but the southern part is very calm,PUEBLA is 1 of the most calmest State's in Mexico Puebla is known for having very very friendly and calm people trust me you will like it there..!! but the NORTHERN PART OF MEXICO IS DANGEROUS
