  • This is nice and simple - love it! I also appreciate the scripting and clarity of the video - you put lots of time into preparing so that it was not a ramble like so many videos... Tell me, is there a reason why you use Saran instead of a metal lid? (Saran is permeable to water and oxygen) Thank you for sharing your knowledge and know-how.

  • wash the hair will be shining too .:) also nutritious. )

  • Thanx for sharing. Great learning.

  • You can use dried lavender buds, Sunflower oil, vita E (this helps preserve your infusion) let the oil, buds and Vita sit for a good 3 weeks. When straining place a cheesecloth into your strainer and once all the herbs are in the cheesecloth squeeze to assure all the oils are out. When finished, place your lavender infused oil in a dark cool place. the shelf life is 1 yr. It can be used in lotions, shampoos, CP &HP soaps or as a bath oil. Also, it's good for scrapes

  • Great info, thanks. Couple of questions:

That does not look like the classic English lavender. What kind are you using? I have the English in my garden but the leaves are different. And with ibkristykat, I ask, why saranwrap and not a lid?

  • can you use a jar that has a lid.... or is there a reason you use saranwrap?

  • Thanks. I love Lavender oil and wanted to know how to make it homemade. Educating .

  • thanks very muchhh, i like it...clear to understand!!
