Atlus isn't making the game, just paying for it and making the big bucks. Cyanide Studios is the one doing the work. I can't remember anything good attatched to their name.
"exciting new trailer".. I have seen "exciting" trailers, and this was not one.
This was the first trailer/first info, I have seen of this game, and..quite frankly it didn't sell me. As a matter of fact, what info do I have. Some guys son disappeared, their economy sucks, and the daughter is making the decisions.. on town affairs?
At least those with complaints about graphics and art style can't say that the characters look worse than Morrowind.
I do look forward to this one. Most Western looking RPGs and Devs are based around lots of side quests and lack in strong, cohesive narrative. Atlus had always been sitting on the jRPG side of things, so I am banking on this game focusing on how the story is told, not just what is being told.
Please don't fuck this up, Atlus...You certainly have the potential to make really awesome games (Trauma Center series, Shin Megami Tensei series, Catherine), so please work some of that Atlus magic on this game!
@Checkmait Uhmm... AtlusUSA dosn't make games, they simply publish and localize games from Japan. The only ones who can work any "magic" is Cyanide Studios, which in the past has only made strategy and simulation games (for better or for worse).
@fvgotch I'm tired of looking at bad ones. Dark Souls is keeping me happy at the moment but it's very fantasy. I'd gain more interest in games like this if it kept to a specific story that fans will know of or have heard mention of through the series, or was realistic and visually appealing. companies are getting rather lax on the graphics front as of late.
