I converted to Islam but never felt more isolated from the world. All of this is so alien to me. I lost my mother the only true friend I had. I see all these videos on youtube about how hard it is for Muslim women in these Islamic countries and it makes me wonder about what Islam really is. Some Sharia law is barbaric. Hello muslims. Allah revealed to me in a dream that some verses are being misinterpreted by many muslims: Sura 5:51: “O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. A man on his own is your friend. If he tries to convert you as a jew or christian he is not your friend at that time only. If he is talking about the weather then he is your friend and you his.

I converted to Islam but never felt more isolated from the world. All of this is so alien to me. I lost my mother the only true friend I had. I see all these videos on youtube about how hard it is for Muslim women in these Islamic countries and it makes me wonder about what Islam really is. Some Sharia law is barbaric. I see all these western women converting to Islam but I wonder if that would be the case if they lived in an Islamic country. I wonder if I made the right choice myself?

@Mrspeakerofthehouse2 Correction... There is no Islamic country in existence today. They say they're Islamic countries, but they're not. You only have to look at Arabia to know that. A leader in Islam has to be elected, the royal family wasn't elected and are a hereditary leadership that was put there by the west for their own benefit. If you were a real Muslim and studied true Islam, you'd already know that.

@adeelamjad1 Yes, perhaps I should have been more careful in calling them "Islamic Countries". I have been to a few countries where the predominant religion is Islamic. That is what I meant. I don't know what to say about your comment of calling me a "real Muslim" but I have prayed 5 times daily, fasted the last 10 Ramadans, Celebrated the last 20 Eids for the last 10 years. I have seen practices in "islamic countries" that are barbaric used in the name of Islam. I was raised in America.

In certain African countries they circumcise females under the pretext that, that's what Islam teaches. I hope you know that's bull, but that's my point. People infuse cultural practices with Islam and as a Muslim you should be able to distinguish the difference. I'm sorry if I offended you, it wasn't my intention

This is the religion of truth, I'm saved islam is beautiful. But Paradise is an awesome reward, so you will run into awesome challenges, and all type of problems. The thing is to keep asking ALLAAH and try to find new answers. Patience takes courage, it is not easy at all. I really wish you the best

Christianity doesn't teach that Jesus is God it teaches that Jesus was the son of God and so in a sense God on earth and you would dare to even try to understand the way God works who are you to decide what or who God is?

@mdnw2007 .Christinity teaches Jesus(PBUH) is a prophet of almighty god.Not son of god.God have no siblings, childs,parents.Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) perform several miracles. Break the moon in to 2 parts. 1 cup of milk drank by more than thousand of people...etc. The Great miracle is the qur'an. There's no any doubts. It is the greatest miracle 4ever.
If u can create sm verses like qur'an! This is an 1 little challange of holy Qur'an. If u can try it. No one did it yet. No one can't do it 4ever.
