Great video! Very detailed, I must say. I stayed at the Wynn for my time at Las Vegas a few days ago, and it was absolutely an amazing resort. It was very comfortable and a lot different than other hotels I've stayed at.

@lotsblocks Yes its true! Only the resort room ending in 17 connects to the largest & most deluxe tower salon suite. I just got it again for the price of a resort room so check out my part 2 video for an updated tour & always request a 17 room, its the best ;-)

Yes my wife and I stayed there for our anniversary last feb of 09 and we were treated like King's and Queen's amazing sushi best service and Tryst was amazing! Top 10 Best room Ive stayed!

@gut197 Well, XX17 is at the end of the hall but it’s not a corner room, but it does connect to a Tower Suite so it has deluxe Tower decor unlike other Resort rooms. The Wynn Resort corner rooms (# s XX66 & 67) are also really nice because they have 2 walls of windows so the view is twice as big! FYI, Encore Resort corner rooms don't have 2 windows & there's no Resort room connecting to a Tower Suite but that's ok because all Encore Resort Suites are spectacular

Trump's location is a bit boring but the place is pretty nice. I was very comfortable staying there. Rooms were extremely cozy.

Well, I don't know for sure so I'd love to hear from anyone who's seen a different model. I think the 17 rooms are all the same based on having stayed in four 17 rooms on various floors. They were all identical and I've walked by 17 rooms on other floors where I've stayed if housekeeping was outside so I could peek in - all had the same high ceilings & red drapes. Hopefully you'll get to stay in a 17 room at Wynn sometime & I hope it looks just like this one!

We stayed at the wynn and we were very happy, the room was gorgeous at 59 floor overlooking the lake, and the decoration was a shade of orange wich matches perfectly with the colors of the mountains and the sunset, just perfect!!!!

How do you get room upgrades?

The best way I've found is to first find the best rate on Wynn website but call to make your reservation so you can request a '17' room on a high floor over the phone. And if you have an Auto Club card, I've found my Calif. AAA card can mean an extra 10% discount when booking over the phone. When I check in at the front desk, there's usually a '17' room held for me unless it's super busy so it's worth trying. If you sign up for their players Red Card, you'll get other promos too, Good Luck!

Thanks for your comment and I believe there are several different color schemes available including the orange that you mentioned as well as gold, brown, and red like this room. The friendly front desk staff can tell you what colors are available the next time you stay there. Since making this video, I've gone back to Wynn twice and both times I stayed in '17' rooms that were decorated with the exact same red colors as this room - beautiful!

The first time I got this room, I'd reserved a standard resort room & at the front desk, I asked to be on a high floor overlooking the lake of dreams. They generously gave me 5317 which is a high floor & considered a panoramic room. After I made this video, I figured out that rooms ending in '17' at the end of the resort side hall connect to a tower suite so they have decor to match tower suites. Since then, I just reserve a standard room & ask for a '17' room at check-in & that usually works!
