  • 0:26 fucking idiots LOL

  • Love and mutual respect, not war and conquest, is the answer. It is not yet too late for us to turn tbis world around. Folks, let's resolve to prevent aything like this from happening again. This is why HU's visit to the USA is so very important.

  • I agree there was plenty of blame all the way around for World War One. Germany, viewed about 100 years later, comes out as not really any more "evil" than the allied nations. The whole nasty thing was a tragedy. Work hard for true world peace. Spread love in this world whenever you can. Do it now before it really is too late. Either that or we may kill ourselves with bombs and machines some day. God created a garden and look what we did with it. We can do better.

  • Also, how about that perormance by Til Schweiger as Voss? Excellent.

  • I want to get the movie soundtrack and have that on ipod. Music to work out to.

  • can u still buy this cuz i want it

  • I know Inglorious Basterds came out after this but.... damn that is HUGO STIGLITZ!!!

  • I waited a long time to see this and when I finally did it ended in dissapointment. Its wrong historically, there was no character development and I think the whole movie was an excuse to make a love story. Everything and everyone revolved around him and the nurse, with a few battle scenes inbetween to remind us there was a war in case we forgot. At most it looked like a slide show. And then hearing "I bet the girls are all over you" made me throw my hands up in defeat. Brilliant actors though.

  • what's the painting at 0:31 of?

  • Hey, can you email me this please? Thanks. I love the movie!!!

  • I love the German language.. Sounds so regal or something. And matches this film very well. Germans were great warriors in their time.

  • @xvoy2002 lol Germans have always been great warriors :) the only reason why their weak now was thanks to ***** Hitler he wasnt German he wasnt HUMAN!

  • The fuck? Hugo stiglitz is in tis movie?!

  • I haven´t heard about any american ace... ever... Nor russian.

I have only heard about german, english and finnish aces.

  • @Maverick110290 so you havent heard of the laffayette ight?

  • he was respected by his fellow man and by his enemys, and even though he was fighting for the nazis in WWII he never was nazi himself he just did his thing.

    may he rest in peace

  • @bennihagen

Of whom are you talking about? I assume you are talking the clips pilot?

    Von Richthofen died in WW1

  • @Maverick110290 mh yep i confused that one with frank v. holstein hes.. well not populer and not even close to professionel as v. richthofen, my grandpy told me about frank i confused those

  • Manfred von Richthofen was the best fighter pilot of all the time. Anyone could kill him in 1vs1 !

  • More stupidly unbelievable aircraft graphics a'la Flyboys. Can they not hire men to fly real planes any more??? For anyone new to airplane/ dogfight movies, rent The Blue Max, and see the difference for yourself. Video-game history sucks.

  • He had 'balls'... He actaully paint his war plane bright red to let the enemy know who he was.. What a guy!

  • he was a man of honour :p

  • for some reason, German love flying and beer more than anything else.

  • Yay Baron!!

  • His pizza sucks

  • everyone in the german army has heard of hugo stiglitz....

  • I really want to see this merely because it has the Red Baron. I'd like more accuracy in my historical topics, but then again, most of what I love about Richthofen is the fact that he's surrounded with mystique. And he was a hero, but ach na, whatever.

  • lol Hugo Stiglitz is in this movie

  • I was disappointed that the movie does not do justice to von Richthofen's character and is riddled with historical inaccuracies too. It wouldn't have taken much effort to do it right. Why didn't they? Check out my Red Baron song on the "BicyclingGuitarist" channel here on YouTube. The lyrics and images are historically accurate and the song rocks! I wrote it on a bicycle (not kidding about that).

  • dangit its all german......

  • This movie should come to the USA. I have seen it and it is cool.

  • who were the enemy planes at the beginning? with the stars?

  • jewish germans!!!

  • @pilotdave1000- there is controversy over how he died, what is fact is that he was shot down during the course of WW1, but what is in question is who fired the fatal shot. Most historians now agree that he was brought down by ground fire because of modern forensics applied to the records of his "autopsy" (ie, location of wounds and types of wounds, etc). What is also fact is that he was brought down over lines occupied by the 5 Infantry Divisions of Australian Corps.

  • Regarding Von Richtofen's comment that he was a sportsman, I recall that he had a silver cup made as a trophy by a Berlin jeweller for each of his victories.

  • nice Legend...but untrue....he was awarded with silver cups by the Prinzregent.

  • I remember reading about this when I was a small boy in the 1950's. Thanks for correcting my knowledge of this tale about his life.

  • Always intrigued by the story of Von Richtofen, although in my youth I always cheered for the exploits of the RFC pilots, the predecessor of the RAF. Fortunate for the Allies that Von Richtofen never lived to fly the Fokker DR7 in combat. No sign of this movie in Canada yet, more than 1 year after its original release.

  • Nor the US. I'm very disapointed it seems to of not come out of Germany/UK yet. T.T

  • i wanna see this!

  • oh man, lena headly is soo fuckin hot!

  • BigBadassR: i disagree, it brings a new dimension to him for a much younger age that doesn't remember him for what he did and who he was, but that he was good at flying and he was "the bad guy"

  • Gut film:) mir behagen:)))))

  • 'Ich verstehe...'

was this movie recorded in german or in english?? i have it in english...

  • i think in both languages

  • It was filmed in english then dubbed in Germany since almost all the actors were german it it's excellent that both voice versions have all the same voice actors nearly.

  • OMG i love how germans talk its!

  • The Red Baoron's aircraft was painted red because he wanted to scare away the enemy planes.

He also told his pilots to not continue to shoot badly damaged planes because he said that they were sportsman and not butchers.

His brother always argued about things like: A soldier cannot afford to mourn/ a war cannot be won without deaths etc.

Another strange fact was that the Red Baoron liked to smoke French cigarretes.

  • Would have been a nice touch had they used the real airplane sounds.

  • Isn't this movie out on DVD yet, I don't see it anywhere yet?

  • If the great Baron was still alive he would strafe the studio that produced this politically correct drivel.

  • @BigBadassR

Politically correct would be that the germans would have been replaced with devils from hell and yankees, british replaced with angels from heaven.

And the germans would be dropping like flies.

    The truth is politically incorrect.

  • This movie is being exclusively launched at the REELSTUFF Film festival, thanks to my father at Wright Patterson Air Force base MARCH 15TH

  • When will this movie be released in the USA?

How can one purchase the movie and/or the movie poster?

  • Jasper von Richthofen, the descendant of red baron, speaks Polish very good and few years ago lived in Gubin, at German-Polish board to work in Poland. I know him because we do the same profesion. Very nice and openmined guy, real friend of Poland.

  • There s a nice production from the late 70s I think, called 'Von Richthofen and Brown' if I m not mistaken, von R. is played by a well known british actor whose name I have forgotten, but very well produced and authentic feel to it, especially the dog fight scenes, awseome....

  • adaspolakk,

Poland had much better pilots than Germany and England ?????

    WHO ?????

Poland is not easy pushed aside ???

How does 3 weeks sound ???

  • well Poland was overran in 3 weeks but during the blitz of Poland the Polish airforce had a 1 to 1 kill ratio against the Luftwaffe which was pretty phenominal

  • whats the name of your shrink, i need to talk to him.

  • Well you can tell it to me first!

  • no it gets fucked in the ass by nazi-time germany... and that is what us english call BURN!!! true it was a term from our stupid cousins america but in all fairness ppl must remember that everyones a lil related to america so it's not all our fault

  • the pre-war number of luftwaffe planes was 4000. not to mention the thousands of planes they produced during the war. I guess 206 is about 15% according to polish math

  • Dolchstoßlegende? Sounds disturbingly familiar.

  • he wasnt as good as thay say he clamed to have shot down sgt mccudden mccudden just span&went on to shoot down nr 60 german aircraft

edward mannock was a better pilot&ace

  • It must be planned... they have an english trailer (unless it's only going to DVD).

  • please show it in britain!

  • its a german movie

  • Does anyone know if this movie will be released in Canada???? I SO GOTTA SEE THIS!

    Manfred von Richthofen f*%k'in rocks!

  • Dude it better come come Canada or i'll shit a brick this is sick

  • Retards... the orignal movie is in GERMAN.

  • Looks like very good film.

Germans were aces of the skies and it is unfair that in many US films they got easily downed.

    Go Red Baron !

    Deutschland ist gut !

  • @Maecmpo21 agreed, i hate that the germans are still blamed to a degree for ww1, we were as bad as the rest and there was no ''good side'' all were heroes, those in command the villains, a pointless war with no-one to blame

  • when is this cming out on north america?

and also any1 when is the movie Crossing the Line coming out?

  • ok but i think this song is not from the red baron soundtrack because i heard it in other trailers too. It's a pity because i search this song for a long time ago =( but although thx

  • Hey guys, I think the soundtrack is from 'Pearl Harbour', they tend to use it a lot in trailers and docus>havent seen the film yet, but have my doubts as German productions always seem a bit impish to me compared to our brethren in the UK or US:)))

  • i don't have idea... i will be waitinhg for the movie in my land (Brasil) and the soundtrack!!!

    8)

  • @eurandi did the movie come out in Brazil!? i live there too!

  • can somebody say me the name of the song which played by 0:56 (sorry for my bad english)

  • i don't have idea... i will be waitinhg for the movie in my land (Brasil) and the soundtrack!!!

    8)

  • NICE!

  • ... Amazing! It seems the Red Baron shall triumph over past dogfight movies! They better set it this summer or early fall in the U.S.

  • is the original movie in english or german?? and when is it coming out?

  • The original movie is is german in in germany it will come out on april 10th

  • But how did they get the english actress to speak german?

  • because she learned to speak german?

  • Just: WOOOOOOJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I would love to see this coming out in Argentine

  • Check out the english trailer, it looks awesome!

  • Looks good, but I still have my doubts.
