  • That s right.!A solar eclipse in Asia

  • i was watching it from my balcony with two sunglasses on

i didnt have the proper attire to look at it haha

most of mainland china could see a total solar eclipse but here in hong kong we could only see a partial eclipse and that sucks

  • Nice, thank you for doing that.... and putting it on here : )

  • Get a grip man...... Boy the smart ones come out to play. Let me guess the eclipse got your brain? lol

  • u only get the full eclipse in china and japan

  • NOOB

  • It was a partial solar eclipse.....nice right?

  • I slept in and missed it! argh

  • i saw it u just need towear a black glasses it covered hlaf!!!

  • it isnt a total eclipse.. the moon didn't even totally cover the sun!?!?!?!?!

  • it is a total solar eclopse only in a small part of the world! Picture a large circle, that covers a part of the Earth! What ever the circle covers, ppl see a partcial eclipse! Then there is a small dark circle in the center of the large one, if that is over land, ppl see a total solar eclipse! Its very rare b/c its so small, somtimes its just over the ocean! :D

  • It was a Total Eclipse but only some countries may have seen it in full. Main land china and India is a confirmed. Hong Kong seen an 85% eclipse.

  • In North of borneo,it's just very little.

Just 3% something of the sun.

  • I live in Hong Kong, and I didn't see it.

Too bad I was still asleep.

    ]]:

  • Gothxshadow ...to bad you didn't see it and recorded it on your camcorder ! They said you could see it really well over Hong Kong . I live in California so I dont think we will see anything =(

  • In Thailand, we didn't have total eclipse either, we had a nice view in Chiangrai.

  • That animation on the video is not an actual animation for the july 2009 eclipse. Dont' they said that is was a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE?

  • The northern tip of Australia can see a partial eclipse of very small magnitude... just less than 5%.

  • foxglove, I have already seen three quarters of the moon covered, and it was really amazing. In Shanghai there'll be a full eclipse, but I think it's raining there or something. Really amazing, REALLY AMAZING!!!!!

  • i live in India so it's very cloudy here so watchin in tv.

  • hey dont your Indians Believe something bad is gonna happen tomorrow?

also i won't see it i live in America....

  • gdogvibes1 unfortunatelly there are also lots of ignorant supersticious people in America. Just think about all the bible freaks, religion fanatics, mass murders and suicides in sects and cults. Not to speak about all the crazy rednecks who believe in creationism. So saying that people in India believe that something bad is going to happen is a bit unfair.

  • What time is this gonna happen..?

  • if you're not in Asia, no way of seeing it. And it's gotta depend which part of the globe you're on. Different locations, different times. you can check it out on wiki for the timings

  • And if i live in Hong Kong?

  • you'll get to see it! but it won't be a TOTAL eclipse. Just partial. But you'll be able to see more than 70% of it covered... that's for sure. It'll be around 9.30am or so... Hong Kong timing

  • Alright thanks. 'Cause my dad said there isn't any chance D:

  • I live in Singapore and I can't see the full eclipse. And it's been so cloudy since 8am, and now it's raining =.= I don't think I can see the eclipse again this time... sigh :(

  • how do you do that. it is pimpin

  • will the lunar eclipse be visible from the us

  • Eclipses carry no evil forces~ Just make sure that you view it safely, e.g. by using eclipse glasses specifically designed for that purpose or pinhole projection. If you're lucky to view totality, you can remove your filter at that time (ONLY when the sun is FULLY obscured; not when the diamond ring or when any Bailey Bead remains)

  • is their any way anybody can see this from southeast united states? and if yes at what time? pleas

  • no, it's only visible in India, myanmar, bangladesh, china, and the pacific ocean, but NOT CALIFORNIA, OREGON, OR MEXICO

  • Thanks July222009Eclipse for the reply. Unfortunately the continental US cannot see any of today's eclipse. Western US can see an annular eclipse in 2012 while a total one will be visible from a narrow corridor within the US in 2017.

  • Tis is not a disaster wat?Y die???

  • Will die ? o.o

    Nvr cover the whole sun?

  • and 23rd is my birthday!!!!:(( If Im still alive!!!

  • thats my birthday...

  • pertial there....nice

  • whats the program called?

  • I used Starry Night to simulate this eclipse. I think Stellarium can also do this job quite well. :)

  • @HongKongWeatherWatch
