Fantastisk løper, som leker med verden verbalt (og sikkert humrer godt av at mange tar kommentarene hans på alvor).

Med tanke på at det fysiologisk sett er mange år til han er på sitt beste vinner han hva han vil på rå vilje og kraft. Godt å se han har blitt rå til å holde seg på bena. Skulle ønske han kunne tatt ett grunnkurs i å lære seg til å stå på bena med Simen Østensen.

In Netherlands we have a former world champion: Gijsbregt Brouwer (read wiki), for some years already the most superb reporter for cross country skiing on tv, EuroSport, just because he knows how it feels, what you are going through as a cross country skier. That is amazing. So much love for this sport, and those who are doing it.

Typical Norwegian skier, fast tempo, strong engine and no technique. That's probably why he falls so often and is no longer so great because his skiing is inefficient and caused him to burn out. If you want to see REAL good technique, check out the Russian or Italian skiers.

We got most gold medals of the teams, but thats because of Northug after him there was no Norwegians figthing for Gold on the mens side. On the womens it was sad except Steriras silver. Combined was a disapointment to. The skiijumping guys wasnt a safe card in the first place so we should be happy with what they did.
