Someone once told me, when I was 18, that the older we get, the more we realise how alike we are to our parents. I've spent the last 44 years focusing on what it feels like being me on the inside, but I've never had the opportunity to see myself from other people's point of view before. It moves to point of gravity, feels liberating somehow, and helps me see my parents in a new light...
