thank you for your kind response ... I'd like to agree with you: personal contacts with people in/from Belarus are the key to the country ... I am convinced, situation in Belarus won't remain forever like that ... so - until then - don't remain silent !
I don't know what to say...it just makes me sit and think for a long time...quietly.
I tell people I meet about Belarus and the situation there, and some people are shocked...but most of them are dulled by the constant bombardment of bad news from all over the world. To be honest I knew almost nothing about Belarus before I met a Belarusian exiled journalist. And her stories and commitment made me interested. So...it is easier ( and normal ) to care when you know someone...
