@NodDisciple1 it's interesting, I was about to slamdunk you and say it was actually Queen Anne, considering that the Golden Age of Piracy covered her reign, but I just checked the cast list and it is Victoria...... slightly confused about this...... but then I suppose Victoria is the more internationally relatable monarch. It certainly explains why Charles Darwin is present.... he's voiced by David Tennant, by the way, which is just gonna make this film epic. Oh and Brian Blessed's in there too.

i personally do not see the who "lepers arm falling off." as the big Taboo that it has been made out to be, that's the comical version of what used to happen when we were still thinking that Disease was caused by the 4 Humors being out of balance. it's not racist, it's not out to harm people, it's just for poops and giggles. that's the same as saying "oh that film, Lorenzo's Oil, it's offensive because it has a boy with Leukemia in it."
