For the Wah sound on the solo, he uses that and then an equalizer that 'goes to 11'7

i love the humming distortion tom has during the chorus. that sound is the epic sound of a 2205, 2210. More distortion than a plexi, but not saturated mush. shame the volume you need to get a 2210 sounding that good will melt glass. people could hear mine hundreds of meters down the road before it ever hit 10.
