  • Keep our folk traditions alive. Be it sherpa, thakali, tamang, gurung, rai, magar or newar. All of our traditions represent nepal. Thanks you pasang mitra. Jai Nepal

    Real nice melody

  • we should promote our culture.. keep posting more videos

  • sherpas are originally from East Tibet...SHERPA is infact a corrupted term for SHARPA ...the people from EAST"SHAR.....east and PA...people!

  • sherpas are actually migrated from Eastern Tibet....SHERPA infact is a corrupted form for SHARPA..which means People from East. Its sad that Sherpas were more inclined toward Bon religion or Shamnism and they were not politically motivated people...in a way they are kind of Happy Go Lucky People with their local brew....so they forgot their ancestors, religion and literature....moreover,they settled in Nepal were they are Politically uncared.

  • Sad thing is that sherpa can't speak their language though they can sing their song in native tounge.

  • @ZairanNo distinction between Tibetan and Sherpa ....

Same language, dress, religion, everything ...

    Actually Sherpas are Tibetans .......

But I know that the Sherpas feel more Nepali than Tibetans ..

The young Sherpas barely speak their own language ..

  • There is no differences sherpa and tibetan costumes. Sherpa claim that they are not Tibetan. In reality they were from eastern Tibet. They moved to Nepal a few hundred years ago. They sing Tibetan specially Thaepa.

They speak broken Tibetan because they have no written language unless he or she becomes monk. Their language is mix between Kamka and Uchang. For example . sherpa say today,ུའརིནག་་, not ་ཐེརིང. They way eat is like kampa specially Bathing.

  • tibetans speak tibetan..its sort of like sherpa language i guess..some of the customs are similer..but Sherpas are Nepali people as for tibetans theyre now a part of china i guess

  • dear friends I am very happy to know that there are some sherpa who are interested in sherpa songs and culture so keep it up my dear friends
