I have made it all the way to the boss on the 2nd storm level. Made it to Wolverine's second level and went for a while but never won. Never got past any other levels. yeah got to the final boss on Storm Level 2 without save states.

I'm sorry but you fing suck at Storms levels they're imho the easiest ones not that they are easy but you are always screwing yourself for air and messing up shooting all the tanks before you think

i had this game as a kid (on the sega genesis) and I HATED IT I remember whenever I was bored I would play just to see if I could beat it...never could...i think the furthest I ever got was I beat the first gambit and first spidey levels....i could never beat anything else.

Even when I played this game as a kid, 2 things always came to mind. First, as you've shown quite thoroughly, is that it's damn hard. Second, Storm had shit level design. In every other media she's got awesome powers, and is just cool, but gets knocked back to "mandatory water level".

You can summon a tornado to provide cover from enemy shots. That's what the blue crystals in the oysters give you.
