Very sound advice and so true. People eat so much per sitting and wonder why they are fat. Eat small meals throughout the day (about 6 to 7), and you will be amazed at how you feel and eventually how you look if you have been carrying around extra weight.

ok so i have a shoulder injury which means that i only can train my legs, forearms, lowerback and abs... and because im eating very strictly im about to gain fat because of all the proteins... so i keep on eating, but im doing more cardio now to keep everything in balance. and i dont think my current muscle start to fade away.

Furthermore, on the scientific level there is no consensus on the question of meal frequency and how it affects the metabolism, however, he makes it appear as though it is.
He should stick to his meals since it's obviously good for him. But what's good for him is not necessarily good for everyone.

I made my own snack for work, to help me eat through out the day, I use almonds and pecans, not salted just fresh plain almonds and pecans. I add some pretzels and that will add a little salt for the nuts I also put in a few white chocolate chips for the sweet, then some plain Cheerios for the subtle crunch and for the little extra carbs, try it and let me know what you think

I have a question for you. Why do some people sweat too much what is that about? I just don't understand why I sweat so much more then other people. I weigh 235 pounds I am obese. @uhavemooface its because you have more weight on you, more fat. so your burning more. your making your way to being slim. trust me. i use to weigh 245 lol. i got down to 155 from running. but make sure if your losing weight to have a good healthy meal plan like scott says haha.

@o8zai You need to eat veggies. For lots of reasons. Veggies are fibrous carbs. Fibrous carbs are a lot harder to break down in your stomach and really fill you up fast. Because they're hard to break down, you burn extra calories digesting them. So often you actually burn more carbs than you take in when you eat fibrous carbs, such as veggies. Also, fibrous carbs really fill you up, so they're very good to eat first thing in your meal. You'll get full faster and eat less. Veggies are awesome :)
@MicTott Vegetables are disgusting and u repeated twice what you said. But yes...you do need veggies...they are good for u, even if it tastes like food for vermin.
@pjcrens my hockey team gets a proffesional nutritionist, she said its not super super important like it doesnt really matter. But if your doing more than 90 minutes of exsersize then complex, so they can burn slower and then you have longer lasting energy, 60 minutes or less then simple so you burn the energy more efficiently

@JustKhali Prepare your meals before hand. Spend an hour on say sunday and make a huge amount of food, healthy of course. Then pack them up in containers so when you get up or leave the house, grab a couple containers.

Scott, i have a question: for some medical reasons i cant eat milk, pasta and most of cereals, some fruits, and patent flour like white rice (celiac disease). My carbohidrate/sugar source is based on brown rice, red apples, and lentils (a lot of them). Obviously i eat all kind of meat, dry fruits and vegetables. Scott, i have a question: for some medical reasons i cant eat milk, pasta and most of cereals, some fruits, and patent flour like white rice (celiac disease). My carbohidrate/sugar source is based on brown rice, red apples, and lentils (a lot of them). Obviously i eat all kind of meat, dry fruits and vegetables. I noticed results in my muscle tone (sorry my english is bad), but I have troubles gaining size. Do you think is possible for me to gain that size i want, or i should quit? thanks dude
