Will is Extremely respected in the drum world, but since he spent the majority of his career w/ 1 group, a jazz group at that, he's never gotten the attention he deserves!!

Oxpost?? .Ok, I'm curious as 2 what you consider a "entertaining & interesting" solo! Seeing how Mr Kennedy is doing a solo based upon a groove, & a groove is based upon repetition, although there are some exemptions, but for the most part, it's hard 2 groove if the beat is constantly changing, 1 would gather that He chooses 2 play music, instead of showing off w/ the twirling sticks & mindless single stroke riffs that have nothing 2 do w/ the music, but make all the drum groupies go YAYYYYY!!

The toms sound amazingly killer, fat and deep, I agree with Sabian16 about annoying high-pitched drums, these ones sound fantabulous. Metal drummers would drool about the pitch of these toms, wonder how much fun should find drummers like Lombardo, Scott Travis or even Igor Cavalera because he plays in a tribal way. Excellent solo by Will Kennedy and outstanding overall sound from this babies.

In 1999, I attended this week long percussion camp at Eastern Illinois University and Will Kennedy was one of the teachers. He had just graduated from college then and was absolutely amazing. I still play the beats he showed us. Thanks for posting.
