Man does this bring back the happiest memories of my life. I was in the mood for some good music so I put my headphones on and looked up INXS.I must have watched all of these great live videos for a few hours...as I couldn't get enough of Michael and the band! I miss Mike so much but thanks to jyounguk I can come to this site and enjoy him and the band anytime I need a smile. God Bless...Love You all forever and thanks for the best music of my youth!!
WOW what a cracking performance with pitch perfect voice. There was only one like him. Saw them play NEC B'ham in the late '80's. By far the most energetic front man I have EVER seen. God bless you the (late) Mr Hutchence.
que lastima que ya no esten juntos por la muerte de michael cuando vinieron a colombia era muy chico pero me acuerdo de ellos mucho y todavia los escucho sobre todo con esta cancion tan vacana
There was a dude who lived on my block who seriously looked exactly like Michael. As this might be a shock (Sarcasm) the girls on my block would all stare at him when he would drive down my street on his Harley.
Michael was and still is the sexiest and hottest performer of all time !! Bar none !! Not like some of the photo shopped images you might see in some places..he was the real deal, and taken away from us way too soon..
A real band! And Michael had more talent in his toenails than some of these "musicians" do in their whole bodies! I just cannot get enough of this video. I have the DVD, but I still like watching it here on YouTube.
what a front man, what a singer, what a soul singer..... there are few rock and roll singers that could work the crowd like Hutchence did..... we miss him and I regret that i never saw them live..... :(
man, Michael had such passion and soul in his vocals. such a shame he accidently hung himself. such a shame that he died....I was crazy about him when I was a kid....he's so sexy and charismatic.....can't take your eyes off of him when he performs.
INXS should return to Wembly with a host of the worlds stop rock frontmen and women to honor Michael and really go out with that BANG they never went out with... Oh, that would be awesome.
i remember going to this concert... fantastic concert,,,, brilliant live they were.... still got my ticket, and the t-shirt i bought.... and still love their music to this day... one of the best days of my life....
@deltasigmatheta4life they were brilliant... if i could go back in time to that day i would, the only thing i would change is my sort of so called boyfriend there.... i would have took my other friend instead... at least my best mate and her boyfriend was there..... best band i've seen live..... yeah i love inxs toooo
was there too....MH had, argurably, THE best lead vocal/voice of any group of any genre of any moment in time. God I miss You M, Those were the days and we thought they would last forever. Thank God this live recording was ever made. The Brilliant muscianship of Kirk, Andrew and their mates were/are the driving force behind this once in a lifetime sound. Thanks Boys for the many decades of Amazing Music.......Cheers!
@zemogkcin no comparrison, MH, freddie mercury are in a league of their own. U2 rely on same big stage show rubbish to wow the crowds like Madonna and gaga and MJ. All Michael needed was a mike and all his charisma.
@gncrrr how lucky you were to be at this great concert i am so glad i got to see michael 2 times but this is the best concert ever dont change love with Michael and inxs sheila i saw inxs this summer with jd but no one will ever replace Michael
Not sure what you mean by "bigger", but, when an artist headlined old Wembley Stadium it usually meant that they had reached the pinnacle of success. So, I guess in the sense that everyone was there to see INXS specifically, as opposed to Live Aid where there were multiple headline-worthy acts on the bill, it was "big" for INXS. Not every artist can fill a 70,000-capacity football stadium.
I was there too. I've been to loads of concerts over the years, NAME DROPPING, lol U2, rolling stones, simple minds, big country. And lots more. But this concert out done all the others, blew them out of the water. I remember it well. It was a perfect day....
@brian3377 Yeah, I was 16 at the time. It was my first ever concert, I went with my two best mates from school, we had all the INXS albums and knew all the words to every song. Really sad weren't we, lol.
Still, it will remain in my imprinted in my memory til the day I die as one of the best days of my life!
IMO that concert was the pinnacle of the bands career.
@richandiben No I was not there. I am a big fan of theirs though. Sometimes big festivals like that are more trouble than they are worth, but that was a hell of a show
Apparently, HE wasn't ready for the "new sensation" LOL
overdose = failure
