Erik Ainge was a bad dude lets just leave it at that. But there is a problem with this Video, at 1:30 til 1:40 thats not Ainge, its Crompton.

why would you hate Erik Ainge? over 3500 yards passing his SR year 31 TDw/ just 10 picks. Better stats than Matt Ryan and he and played in the SEC. Only other QB to put up those kind of numbers at TN was Peyton Manning.

Matt Ryan had 4507 yards passing his sr year also with 31 TDs but he did throw 19 ints although Ryan wasnt playing in the SEC but he didnt have the badass O-line that tenn had either.

Look at that O-Line this year. It's the same O-line all the starters returned and they gave up 2 sacks against UCLA. The only reason they only gave up 4 sacks last year when Ainge was here was because Ainge made all the protection audibles at the line, and he has a quick release. There were many times that it should have been a sack but Ainge picked up the blitz and either stepped up in the pocket or got the ball out. Ainge made that average O-line look like a great O-line.

Casey is 2nd... but only because Ainge had a rough 2nd year... Casey never threw for 3000+ and 30+ TDs in a season...

I'm glad he got drafted and I think the Jets is a good team for Ainge because all 2 quarterbacks

he knows personally and he has a good chance to be either a starter or a backup and I know people say he's not going to play but I think Ainge has the potential be a solid quarterback in the NFL hopefully he might play against Peyton Manning.

you're absolutely right!!! he has TREMENDOUS potential... his stats are awesome! :) - a lot of people out there seem very blind to how good he really is though and that is so frustrating. :| he deserved to go a LOT quicker than the 5th, but i'm just glad he went! :) i was starting to get REALLY pissed off. ;)

When you throw a majority of your passes 0-12 yards of course you will have good accuracy stats.

It is impossible to tell at this point. I do know that Pennington has a stronger arm and he put up awesome stats at Marshall but that is Marshall not quite SEC caliber opponents. Pennington is very inconsistant and has had alot of injuries. But Ainge hasn't taken that many big hits the Vols always have a tough O line.
