I don't know if it's a good idea to leave your iPhone on your dash if you live in Arizona, or Death Valley, or any other place where it could melt. But otherwise it seems like a cool app to have.
Good comparison. The only thing I experienced is that if you are in a weak signal area on the cell phone it looses track while the tomtom will hold the signal even through canyon roads where there would be no cell signal.
I hope you had a driver; this is evidence in a court of law :D
Thanks for the Review... Mind you I'd recommend the GPS unit if you don't already have an I phone since you can get TomToms for about $100... while it would cost the iPhone, Software, and Car kit if you wanted the iPhone TomTom.
