  • How did you manage to get shots from 2 different places?

  • I filmed the show on three separate nights using two cameras, one fixed on a tripod and one hand-held. This gave me six streams of video that I then edited together to make the final compilation. Continuity was a big issue as every show was slightly different (tempo, stage positions, lighting, weather etc). Very challenging but very rewarding.

  • Wow! No wonder the footage looks so professional! Were you paid to make the video or just an exceptionally keen amateur determined to produce a top notch video?

  • Just a keen amateur. It was such a special event I wanted to capture it for the cast and crew. It was a lot of fun producing the DVD and it constituted my contribution to the show since I'm not a stage person!

  • soooo kool

  • Oh my goodness! That set is breathtaking! =O

  • Wow I really like how the sun setting plays into the production.

I think I need to book a ticket for england, like NOW

  • Cheers this is great

  • cheers

  • It has GOT to be colder than Dante's Hell performing at that location against a seawall! Kudos to that cast - and thank you for posting this. I have got to get to Cornwall and see this "theatre" ....

  • wasn't too bad in costumne on the stage, but the crew named the top of the stairs before going on to the stage 'The North Pole'- real kudo to the SM who had to stay there every show! and to the prompt bundled up with her hot water bottle and sleeping bag!!

  • umm...kudos not 'kudo' - oops

  • that must be nice for the cast for a change, it's normally freaking hot on a normal stage doing this kind of preformances, and ekspecially when they wear big costumes, with jackets and so on.

  • Ha we have the same problem, I act at another outdoor theatre in cornwall...Sterts Theatre...bloody freezing in september! not nice coming on stage after its been raining either..costume and hair all soaked :S

  • Awesome! Thanks for sharing this wonderful video!

  • Much better than so many American productions I've seen. Only complaint I had was the wigs. Or, at least, Percy's wig.

  • I take it that it was Ozzy (as usual) in the dress? *snickers*

That was pretty damn good. I'm glad that there's a high quality video of any performance available on the internets, and I'm even more glad that it's of one so well done. Awesome. :3

  • thanks for your kind comments, both here and in Storybook.

..and the guy in the dress is Armand!!!!!More to his character than meets the eye, obviously ;-)

  • Love this!!!! Oh the memories!
