Right now it's just taking pictures with "advanced depth of field". I don't know how that's going to help with focusing, but you might be able to take a picture with the crosshair focusing on a certain part and take a decent quality image.

Who knows, but writing an on-screen keyboard is quite easy (assuming it doesn't have one).

Plus, true keyboards are better than screen keyboards.

If you do it just shows that deep down you really believe that the iPhone is the standard that all others should be measured against. If that wasn't the case you'd compare it to The Storm, G1, HTC Touch etc..

And, even older are: the Palm Treo 180 which was made back in 2002, the Handspring Visor on September 14, 1999 (though not technically a cellphone, but a pda that allowed a cell connection through it's springboard slot..gameboy cartridge style), and in June of 1999, was the Qualcomm pdQ. although i do hate people saying arhhhhggg that looks like an iphone iphone this iphone that... this phone really looks like an iphone and basically has the same interface, i mean come on the edges of the phone get skinner, internet browseing multi pages, pinch zooming, 8gb, dock. the one thing this phone does have thats good is the qwerty keyboard but thats not even all that great i mean get a landscape keyboard if your going to put a hardware keyboard. iphone kicks ass cause all the devs.

Come on!!, how will you say that?. This phone has so many differences in terms of hardware and software. Interdaces could look similar, but, hey... This is how all touchscreen interfaces are looking and will be looking like. Palm really did a very good job on this one, removable battery,keyboard,flash, by far the best GUI I've seen in a phone. Apple started a new era, but will really need to open up their minds and start working hard to beat this...

"INTEGRATION" dude i have the iphone. every app is separate from each other. in Mail, (press) Home Button, go to Web. in web (press) home button, go to sms. iPhone is Far less integrated than the Palm Pre. Palm Pre is a much more desktop fluid experience. iPhone's experience is so choppy, (closing every app once you press the home button)

I agree the Pre does integration better, but remember that was the whole aim of the iPhone in the first place: combine email, music, photos, videos and internet in one device. Integrate them.

The Pre may do it better, but thats not a new feature. Most importantly, its not a selling feature.
