ahh, thank you! the title came from the name of a transitional home for AIDS patients that I volunteered at while I was in New Orleans (Project Lazarus)..it's a name that's often associated with rebirth or restoration to life, which i love in the context of NoLa and how the city is recovering (still) from Katrina.

i thought i recognised the title lazarus from a poem that was on my course, and i looked it up. It's a poem called "Mrs Lazarus" by Carol Ann Duffy. I'm not really sure why i'm telling you this, but i dunno, just thought i would :)

@julianaeveryday This is so crazy. I did some volunteering on the Mississippi coast just a few months after the hurricane hit, and began writing a song with the same title. I really dig it. You're voice is quite possibly my favorite of any female voice I've ever heard. It's easy to tell you do more than just play and sing, you feel it. It's like you become the music when you're playing it, I enjoy that:)
