My question about this and all filming DSLRs is: what is the default shutter speed (not the fps) when filming? Can you change it? Does it have an automatic setting? (that mantains the brightness).
You can turn image stabilization off for video recording and it will not have mechanical noise. I even think it turns OFF by default in the new firmware update. If you buy the camera, do NOT use it until you update it, it's very crucial. You can check out some videos and pictures I took with the ISO in max, at night; Check out my channel to see that :) The one that says night in the tittle.
@TheMangolatino I'm loving it. Great bang for the buck. (walmart.com had it $100 cheaper if you got it in red). Supposedly some battery issue that can be corrected by software, and complaints of the image stablizer being noisy, clicking loudly and being picked up on the mic--I haven't had these issues, or at least haven't run into them yet. I would say the best deal out there in the price range.
@ThePhantomBlacksmith no noise ... you are so lucky .. C.R. Kennedy Dist for Pentax in Australia is telling me that noise I hear is the standard camera design!!!! have a look at my upload of the noise this thing makes at LateralNW please leave a comment or upload proof your camera does not do it please.
