I don"t know of ANY modern car that cannot get 50,000 miles out of a set of plugs and some it's 100,000 miles . When was this video made ? 1970 !

@Troforso What your saying can be true but if the plugs are misfireing @30,000 miles in todays world of electronic fuel injection . you have other problems other than just the plugs I service 64 ford and dodge vans and pickups, we remove the plugs @ 25,000 miles , gap ,reinstall @50,000 we do it again and again @75,000 we are getting 100,000 miles before the plugs can no longer be set the gap this is in any truck that is running correctly

The spark plug on the left is no more worn than the one on the right it just has the side electrode bent out away from the center electrode. The center electrode is what wears on a plug.
