MSG is Slowly Poisoning America. It's the most widely used flavor enhancer in the world used in most processed foods, fast foods, Chinese food & nearly all canned & frozen foods.
Despite the scientific evidence making this connection to pain, cancer patients are not being informed of this risk & no work is being done by medical researchers to see if patients improve on excitotoxin-free diets. Always read the labels to know what you’re buying before you put in in your cart, or in your mouth.
ATHOUGH THIS IS MY FAVORITE SEASONING I HAVE ALREADY DECIDED NOT TO BUY ANOTHER ONE AFTER THIS BOTTLE IS GONE, SO I HAVE TO GET USED TO UNTASTY FOOD !
Funny thing is most of the people complaining about MSG will then go on and have a smoke or have something with high sugar content. If we took out everything that's been linked to some disease or another out of our diet, we'd be left with very little.
@Psydecar Just start taking a lot of Vitamin D3, and it will enhance your immune system! I take 7000 units per day, and have been doing this for about 1 1/2 years, and I have not had one single cold even try to get me (no sniffles or sore throats), and no flu either - and no flu shots either. I used to be VERY prone to catch colds. So my point is that if it is helping with the elimination of colds and flu, what else is it helping my system to be able to resist?! BTW I am 72 years young!!
Well, I don't know what to say to this because I've NEVER been vaccinated and never have been sick for anything. But vitamins are good too, don't get me wrong.
I cannot eat MSG at all any more. I break out in a rash, my hand goes numb, my face feels paralyzed, I get immediate visual problems and then a migraine headache. I get sick from it for a whole week. I hate that it is in everything, I cannot hardly eat anything processed or eat in restaurants anymore.
1 to 200 dead a year is acceptable? What about the millions who's lives are turned inside out suffering from all the other symptoms. What about compensation for there losses? The number of work days I have missed and the promotions that have passed me by because of the migraines I have had to endure from that crap is mind blowing. I try to avoid MSG and the like, but I am afraid that the damage is now irreversible. I still get migraines 2 to 3 times a month.
Hidden MSG has scorched my colon, caused me to have heart disease & high blood pressure (now that I'm off the MSG my blood pressure is normal). It penetrates the blood barrier around the brain & can cause seizures, colon-stomach issues, migraines, heart disease & much more. People that tell you it's harmless are nuts!! MSG does not exist in nature, it is only created when man processes foods like Soy, Wheat, Corn, etc & converts the bound glutamates into free glutamates (MSG)
My mom is allergic to MSG... and whey.. and wheat.. and flour.. and gluten,, so no worries for her.. doc's say i probally have it.. just waiting for something to trip the disease and say " Hey!! No Msg.. ect ect"
@GodofEverything46239 I'm allergic to MSG too. It's really annoying. But I don't have intolerance to gluten and flour like your mother. That's a really bad combination :( Must be troublesome for her since she cannot eat whatever she likes.
this message is for anakaday. i believe your an idiot. i created my youtube account right after i read your message. i have been watching a lot of conspiracy films on here most of them are a good story but not true. but out of all the comments i have read your comment is the strangest of them all. considering that a 7 year old child knows that MSG is bad for you, i think you are insane and should be medicated
rubbish. It is a natural product contrary to what people might think- sodium and glutamine and breakdown into sodium and glutamic acid - an amino acid. It is not dangerous at all. Common salt is more poisonous! You have to eat large amounts to cause damage VERY large amounts. All laboratory tests show it is harmless. they have tested people who claim to have this alergic reaction numbness and flushing and they had NO reaction. I love the stuff!
@anakaday How come it's called an excitotoxin, then? Go look up "Excitotoxicity" on Wickipedia and you will see that you are TOTALLY MISINFORMED! It SPECIFICALLY talks about THE REALLY BAD EFFECTS OF MSG!
@anakaday considering its not a natural product and is in products from fast food places, it cant be that good for ya! do u think mcdonalds is harmless?
@java1mama Not everything not natural is bad and not everything natural is good. It's a popular misconception to think natural=good, manmade=bad, sure there'll be things we make that are bad, but not always, and don't use it as an argument next time. Also, virtually anything at high doses can be toxic. For example, vitamin E at low levels is fine, when you start taking abnormally high doses of the stuff- you'll end up with an increased likelihood of developing bone problems.
I ate a frozen pizza yesterday. It had MSG in it (under the guise E621). My stomach is in turmoil, I have a weird headache (I never have headaches normally), I feel poisoned, am dizzy. My body is partially numb, legs and arms. Potato chips with MSG has the same effect. I can understand how this thing can cause brain damage.
part 3 --- Google "hidden names for MSG" and you'll be shocked to learn how much of that junk is in ALL processed and fast foods and falsely labeled NO MSG. What aggravates the hell out of me is how deceptive they are at the expense of our health. Little kids in particular are adversely affected by this taste enhancer.
@tateavery21 There are many, you need to look at the labels to see what's in them. There are, however very few things on the market that contain neither sugar, aspertame, or splenda! I get sugar free, and add my own sweetener, which is is a combo of Xylitol & Stevia. "Ideal" brand sweetener is one of these. That's what I use. I also make my own solution of Stevia, Water and Glycerin. I buy the pure powdered Stevia, and the food grade Glicerin on eBay. You will need a magnetic stirrer to mix them
You can purchase a used magnetic stirrer on eBay also. I use a 10% solution of Stevia in a solution of 60% Glycerin and 40% water. I add 10 grams of powdered Stevia to 40 ml of water, and stir with magnetic stirrer until all dissolved - takes half hour to an hour. Then I add 60 ml Glycerin, and stir an additional 30 minutes. You will need to keep this the fridg. Get a empty dropper bottle at a health food store. Wash it and fill it with your solution, and dropper it into your coffee or tea.
Hidden Valley Ranch, Doritos, most potato chips, top ramen. As I have noticed many foods that have powder flavor on it like chips and ramen noodles, and a bunch of other foods usually contain MSG. Soups unless specified MSG free usually have it.
@BrittanyImada You will find it in some canned veggies too - you have to read the labels. These are usually the ones which have added seasonings for flavor. I have seen, in one brand, that some of their veggies have MSG and others don't.
CHEMRISK - a research company hired by the Corn Refiners Association has recently taken down it's YouTube channel.
The removal was in response to negative public perception resulting from the discovery of dangerous levels of MERCURY in HIGH-FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP. Apparently it has become a liability to defend the sweetener.
See one of the last remaining ChemRisk videos at CornRefinersAssoc on YouTube.
Audolyzed yeast is 1 of 3 harmfull components of MSG.Chk your bread and ALL labels. This crap is everywhere.Just when you read a label and it does not have MSG in it you might think it is safe.
It is one of the harmfull components of MSG.If a food item does not have msg on the label but you see other names like the following..Audolyzed yeast/casein/caseinate/Broth/glutamate/hydrolyzed/hydrolyzed protein then consider it having MSG.These are words the Food And Death administration let companys mask harmfull components with.Print the list and have it laminated and take it shoping with you.You will be amazed how much of this garbage is in so many foods.Hope this helps.
Good point. I did and had to change my diet. I did not realize what was out there under different names. I knew MSG was not good for you. However, I was unaware of the other name it hides under, and knowing is half the battle!
MSG is not a food allergy noob, it is an excitotoxin, it's TOXIC to anyone who ingests it. It's only peoples reaction to it that vary. What the doctor's full google video online, available to everyone:
Parents, please look at what you give to your children, because you have a choice and they have to relay on your knowledge. Learn how to find these hidden additives in the processed food.
You have the power to take control ..just eat food..Thats the stuff that grows out the ground not what comes out a packet .. It's that easy. If your a meat eater it may be worth visiting the Meatrix here on you tube.Look after yourself your worth it. peace.
There is a movie about additives including aspartame, MSG and others called "Sweet Remedy: The World Reacts to an Adulterated Food Supply." You can see it if you go to sweetremedy(dot)tv and go to catalog. It's really worth seeing to protect your health.
They give it to lab animals to boost their weight. It gives me bad headaches. Now they are injecting it into meat "minimally processed". It use to be illegal to do that.
He speaks against aspertame. It is said to be an excitotoxin, as is MSG, and is also bad for you. I use saccharin or Splenda now, and avoid aspertame.
Splenda isn't much better. It's a manmade substance and it's bad for you. I don't know about saccharine but it's an artificial sweetener too so I suppose it's not very healthy.
People should just stay away from any artificial sweeteners. If you want to eat something sweet, do it for example once a week on saturdays. Eat something with real ingredients and not artificial sweeteners.
Attempts to ban saccharin as it is a carcenogen have been going on since the early 70's. Unless you are a diabetic, pure sugar is the best thing for you. Everything in moderation my friend.
Sugar will kill you too, and does not eliminate the sweet cravings. Use dates, raw honey, raw agave, raisins for sweetening. I prepare raw vegan dishes using soaked dates. Adds the sweetness you want without the being detrimental to your health. You can also use Xylitol and Stevia too.
They put flavor ehnacers in foods beceause the food it's self it cheap tasteless junk. So you not only eat rubish but also get chemicals with it to make it taste like something that's it not. You're better of smoking that eating that.
I'm not so sure about your last sentence, because it is better to avoid both. Kraft Salad Dressing does not contain MSG as far as I have seen. Most other major brands do contain it.
Unbelieveable! No wonder so many people are overweight and can't lose. There is a good web site you should check out where I learned a lot about the dangers of food. It is fooddemocracy dot wordpress dot com.
