I fought in Kuwait, the Gulf War. Shrapnel tore my cheek, when I came back my mom just said the scar looked like a scorpion. I fought in Kuwait, the Gulf War. Shrapnel tore my cheek, when I came back my mom just said the scar looked like a scorpion. No one ever asked me what was it like, the men more open to talk about it have been Vietnam veterans, I guess they had time to heal some of the scars. Thanks for your comment.

(Google it on xlibris) 'Playboy' was the ironic title given to helicopter pilots who had the highly dangerous and responsible job of directing from over the battleground the medical evacuations and supporting air strikes. @MrTheLibrarian I was in the Army and lost both my legs in an explosion in Baghdad back on '07. I totally agree with you. There is a certain responsibility that comes with the uniform, even after you are retired. Usually the people who talk shit never seen any real combat and play up their tours, that is if they aren't just posers. The point is if you take that oath you show respect and live a certain life style, and always respect civilians. That's who we are fighting for.
