At 1:01 when he stops the camera momentarily at the top of the one set of stairs what is the noise I hear. It either sounds like he burped twice or some other horn was sounded twice

That speaker strobe almost looked like it was a wheelock E70 except for the fact the strobe was vertical whereas all the wheelocks I've seen are horizontal

the other day at a hotel some one saw smoke and pulled the alarm it sounded like someone turned on a thunderbolt in there(the was a hilo fire thunderbolt on the roof )

he's talking about the fire alarm. The alarm is a speaker/strobe, instead of a horn, which can only make some sort of tone either a buzz or shreek.
