Yes its a 4-rotor, uses the same basic design elements as the R26B found in the 787, 757, and 767B LeMans cars.
The difference is Scoot designed a 4-rotor using 12A housings instead of the R26B's 13B housings. Controlled using two Apex Power FC's, since the Power FC can only control a 2-rotor rotary.
In essence, the Scoot FD uses an R24B.
The reason why the car is not as loud as the 787B is because the exhaust exits underneath the car and not the side like the 787B does.

You cant. Period. There are only 3 companies in the world who can manufacture custom eccentric shafts for a rotary. 2 of them exist in Australia, and one in the US.
And an e-shaft from any of them will run $20k+
a 3rotor is the only rotary that can almost mimic the sound of a V10 since it has 9 combustion chambers.
The more rotors you add, the higher the pitch the exhaust becomes
Fuck it, let's do a 6 rotor for that lovely v18 sound that nobody's heard. It isn't a problem of what company CAN manufacture one, It's a matter of figuring out how to get so many rotors on on long ass shaft without weakening the shaft (along with timing etc.)
I'm just saying its not as loud as the 787B because its not as powerful. Basically, I'm just confirming what you are saying. :) I think it sounds glorious.

That car sounds GOOD. It sounds like a Mazda 787-B but not as loud. How many Rotors does it have? It sounds like Four.

Power on an n/a rotary, like any car is dependent on the compression ratio.
the 787B used custom rotors with a compression of about 13 or 14 to 1.
Scoots 23B uses off the shelf Series 5 FC rotors of 9.7:1
So Yes, its is not as powerful as the LeMans race car.... but why?
The noise may be beautiful to our ears, but not so much to anyone else in their homes or walking on the sidewalk

i tought scoot had 26B, it does around 480HP stock without turbos, cant tell you the other details since i don't know them :)
