"So I interviewed Roy Wood but it was odd because he kept saying this thing: "EE-EL-OH", "EE-EL-OH". I didn't know what he meant but he kept on saying it: "EE-EL-OH", "EE-EL-OH". Thank god he finally stopped !!"
Ok, you'll never believe this but if you look it up you'll see it's absolutely true, I just minutes ago commented half jokingly on a Wizzard song here and said that Roy Wood was the Lady Gaga of Phil Spector tribute bands.
Now only a few minutes later I hear it from his own mouth in his own words no less!!!! I can't freakiin' believe it. Double rainbow all the way, man!
His speaking voice is exactly like his singing voice in the early days of The Move!! Great to see an awesome interview of my idol R.W !! Good job, cheers from Australia
Looking forward to Roy Wood's Song Book out soon, well done that girl for that crazy cute interview, the man's a mad genius and I love him to bits, met him in a pub once and he just made me feel so welcome, one cool dude.
As an American fan of Roy Wood, I came close to selling much of my music collection for a 'plane to England to see him. Fun interview. Over here, subs are food. yeah
Sorry I don't know you, I am a fan of Roy's from the US. Was nice to see him, but diappointing from a fan's perspective. Would love to know if he will ever record again. Still thanks for getting it.
Meaning that myself and other fans of roy wood would love to hear more from him esp. being a one time opportunity, and definitely wouldnt be a drag; and if other subs dont know who he is then they have to option not to watch or better still to watch and learn from a legend. I grew up with his music and I dont have the pleasure of seeing him in concert, being in Aust. your ar a lucky girl you met him!!!
@Trixi3Bell I'm sorry that I disappointed. I want to make Roy Wood fans happy and my fans happy, but they are 2 totally different audiences which makes it quite difficult. To be honest, I was scared of losing subs therefore I deliberatly didn't drag it on too long. However, I do feel that it was long enough and he answered the questions that I wanted him to answer, if I was to think of more the quality would have suffered.
@klaireification u did a fine job.an interview is a slice of energy.fans of musicians get too carried away with their rules and regulations about how you should treat their deity.
Not the best in timeframe for a interview especially with a legend like Roy Wood, it certainly doesnt do him justice. Maybe there should be a part two
@Trixi3Bell What do you mean? I didnt want it to drag on...I couldve made it longer. This was a one time oppotunity and I can't do a "Part 2". Bear in my mind most of my subs don't know who he is
Roy Wood is arguably one of the greatest song writers of the 60's/70's. Thank you Roy for all the QUALITY music over the years. :)

You forgot to ask him how many pies he'd eaten...I'd say about 2 dozen..a day..for the last 6 months.
