I went to a Wolfpack last night. And I can say. Only 1,200 fans were there for the 3-1 win vs the Albany RiverRats. I hope in the future. We do get an NHL Team. If not. I hope the Wolfpack stay. Because it's like what would be better then having a hockey team in Hartford.

Everyone go to carolina hurricanes vids and trash them!! They have no fanbase for hackey in carolina!! They average about 10,000 people in their arenas for games and they dont even sell out playoff games. The fans that they do have are pricks!! The big point is the stanley cup does not belong in carolina! So go on their vids and their fans pages and tell them how huch you want the canes to move back th hartford where they belong!

The HCC could be full again if people like you didn't have the attitude you did no fence but just imagine theres a lot of Whalers fans that won't go to the Wolf Psck games becuase of the colors they wear. If we put aside our petty stuborness and went to WP games Hartford Hockey fans can drive home the fact that theres still a thriving fan base here that is ready for the responsibility of having another NHL team. A house divided never wins.

I still don't understand why they left Hartford. Carolina had like 5,000 fans at the game for several years to begin with.

I forgot how lively the atmosphere was with the Whalers.

Personally I'm a Dallas Stars fan. I dunno what I'd do if they ever moved.

I think it was because they couldn't get a new arena in Hartford. The Canes' low fan amount was because the Entertainmet and Sports Arena (now RBC Center) wasn't built in time in Raleigh, so they had to move to Greensboro. I would really like to see a new team in Hartford, but just not the Hurricanes.

Actually the flags on their uniforms represents ghales, not hurricanes as is intended. I don't really have a team, when the whalers left hockey died for me.
